I'm bored, but not offended by the aforementioned video. It's quite logical and true that younger people will be the power of the future. In the future, the people who are young now will be less young. I am not sure why this is so shocking.
Upon a second viewing, these are all kinda obvious but true facts from the video:

For the past 40 years the political/social agenda has been set by the parents (Baby Boomers) of the current youth. (Basic math)

Baby Boomers were the largest generation. (Basic Math)

Youth is more globally oriented. (True enough: internet, xbox live, facebook, etc. - this is however subjective - but I think some of y'all get freaked out by anything that has the world global in it!)

More ethnically diverse. (Simple immigration math)

More technologically adept. (True based on my observations and technology usage statistics)

First generation to inherit a nation in decline. (sadly true, but subjective)

National debt is $10 trillion. (obviously true, I can see younger folks saying "thanks dad" for that one)

Educational system is failing. (seems true to me)

Highest child poverty rate in the developed world. (depends what we considered developed, but basically true)

Fossil fuels pollute. (umm... you don't have to get into a global warming debate to agree on that.)

Seems to me that every election has an "empower the youth" component. Martin Van Buren was even trying to get the youth vote out! Relax, nothing is changing. Everything will go as planned... right into the pooper, as usual. But we all gotta keep fighting the good fight, young and old.

I'm nineteen, and to think this little program is going to go anywhere or affect a good amount of people's thinking is silly.

If any of you have been following my posts you should have been able to identify a pattern of material that attempts to illustrate how social planners attempt to manipulate you and society, sometimes subtly and sometimes not-so-subtly. It's key to be able to identify the techniques that are used, as they are not new. Once you become adept at identifying the techniques and the goals behind the techniques, then you can easily defend against them and combat the manipulation.

Overall, this is a pretty damn sophisticated group and I'm very pleased to see the comments in this thread, as virtually all are picking up on the intended manipulation of Gen-We.

This is important stuff, it's not to be dismissed, as the global planners must find targets to blame for each of society's ills. In WWII the German public were told it was the Jews, in 1950's America the public was told it was the blacks, in 1990 and early 2000's America its the terrorists, or the Japanese, or the Chinese. And now, they're telling the young that it's everyone older than them. They ALWAYS gives us someone to blame, who in fact, is just another victim. This is a key technique that must be recognized and defeated, so that we can remain focused on the true perpetrators of the crimes against humanity.

What some maybe missing here, however, are the clear attempts of infiltrators-to-this-forum to vector our thinking. Their attempts stand-out like a sore thumb, like a blaring red-light flashing on and off. But this group is savvy, and whether you recognized them or not, you certainly dismissed their efforts to disrupt.

Good job all. I hope you spread this message, as we cannot let our youth's culture be further usurped. Youth must identify that these efforts are an attempt to separate them from the herd, like a young Gazelle being targeted by a pride of Lions. After watching that video, I have to point out that the only reason that generation will comprise the largest voting bloc is because of massive immigration, not because natives are giving birth.

Which makes it all the more important to get back to the Constitution. Otherwise, we'll only have a hodge podge of different cultures fighting for handouts and special "rights." If we keep seeing people as hyphenated Americans, we'll be more divided than ever. The only antidote is individual liberty and freedom, which is the polar opposite of being granted special privileges because of age, skin color, etc.

There's an answer to our problems, but it sure as hell can't be found in pitting people against each other because of their age, blaming baby boomers, and celebrating diversity rather than unity.

if you counter it, mention how the Democrats have had the control to stop all of the spiraling debt they lament about in that video - the Democrats were voted in to end the war, they campaigned to get elected on that issue a few years back and won overwhelmingly - then they voted for the surge and gave Bush more money than he asked for. They have not ended the war or occupations. They continue to fund it, even though they promised voters that if the Democrats were given the majority, they would end it - they lied to that 'we-generation' by lying to their parents, who voted for them.

The Democrats voted for the bailout bill - they had the majority to vote it down, they voted for that astounding debt increase on that we-generation. They have enslaved the we-generation to the shackles of debt.

That video is socialist propaganda along with the push for 'democracy' (via majority rule/vote) - also, when they cite that the we-generation volunteers more, that's most likely the result of skewed stats as many schools (public and private) now require a certain amount of 'mandatory volunteerism' hours before graduating highschool - so, sure, they volunteer more, because if they don't, they can't graduate (and 1 in 3 students drop out... nationwide statistic... the socialistic propaganda in schools is leading to students and their parents just opting out of that 'education system' completely.)

More educated... or more brainwashed? If they were more educated, why are so many voting for Obama or any Democrat in any political office? Or McCain, for that matter?

It's a case of more manipulated. More compliant to their own enslavement. Good intentioned 'we are the world' feel-speak, but always through government - never through themselves and each other. Always brokered through 'voting and government' - that's not how we unite. We are already global and united, as individuals out here in cyberspace. As individuals who meet offline, to meet each other in person, sometimes flying across continents to meet each other.

We don't need government(s) to manage for us our unity and our love, concern and compassion for one another. Our friendships with each other. If anything, our governments corrupt our connections to and with each other.

That video breaks my heart... what a massively manipulated population we have on our hands. The economic, monetary and political system has caused the demographic warfare. It will only intensify. For example, why should any employee be required to pay Social Security tax, in addition to student loans in some cases, when they will never see a single penny?

Many of the younger generation see the older generations as extremely poor stewards and the cause of the current mess. The older generation took a wonderful, free and prosperous country and have squandered the inheritance both political and economic with the current extremely burdensome tax system and police state. The younger generation is pissed and they are the ones who have to live with and raise their family in this mess. In addition, the younger generation is smarter and getting smarter faster. They apply this native ability with the free marketplace of ideas provided by the Internet and have as a generation, both left and right, rapidly embraced a 'libertarian' political philosophy. Millennials are closely aligned with Gen Y.

A great example of the disrespect from the older generation towards the younger generation is personified in John McCain. When a high school student about his age McCain responded rather contemptuously and called him 'a little jerk' and then finished with 'You're drafted.' The older generation's idea that they 'own' the production (SS) and life (endless wars that their friends are dying in) of the younger generation is naturally going to raise some ire. The younger generation does not like the idea of being their slave and in indentured servitude. In effect, the older generation has lost their moral authority. As a result, their institutions, organizations, etc. are rapidly losing power. Just look at corporations, churches, political parties, media outlets, etc.

The Millennial generation will be a force to be reckoned with. They are younger, faster, stronger, smarter and more technologically capable than the older generation. Most importantly instead of being in a drug induced comatose state with limited access to ideas they are alert, proactive and able to rapidly act and react with the aid of technology. Perhaps the most important motivator is that they have their life in front of them and not behind.

When the Millennials who organized for and voted in Obama are as disappointed with him as most Republicans are with Bush then there will be an even more explosive political landscape. America is in for some very interesting years.

you post is absolutely positive and inspiring - my only concern is the Obama administration (if he wins) and those that follow him are going to blame these Bush/Republican years on 'why nothing worked' in their terms in office - and I think the kids in that video will believe it. Interesting years ahead, yep - educating one at a time, every day, every week, every year. Hopefully the philosophy of liberty and freedom reach enough so that it's not prolonged agony and turmoil. The Democrats promoted the war just as hard as the Republicans - and the Democrats lied to voters about ending it, years later... those facts have to be compiled (there's youtube videos of most of it, word for word, from the mouths and words of those who got us into that gigantic mess.)

because the youth have been (and are being) given misleading information about what is the role of government and what is the role of each of us within our own communities, state, nation and world.
