Why is Youth being Turned Against Us!

The older generation has done a good job of driving a wedge between themselves and the youth.

Stop trampling on my rights in the name of archaic patriotism, and then we'll talk.

creepy video

btw, im in that generation and realize that those commies will do nothing to fix our debt :D

I'm one too, and we are borg.

We will add your political and philosophical distinctiveness to our own through the internet, your views will adapt to serve ours. Resistance is futile.

Seriously though, I wouldn't worry too much about that site.

So says the Baby boomer in the video who is responsible for making the Video. Way to go Mr. Greenberg.. in dividing Americans.

Now everyone go and buy his book.. please.....

"we are the largest demographic group in the United states, and once unified we can control America's political landscape"
That scares the shit out of me too. The fight for America's future begins!

Does anyone have any good video equipment? We, umm, need to counter this. I was thinking of doing something similar, but more like "I am one less taxpayer. I am one less slave. I am one less sheep," and so on.

Generation-me. C'mon, it's so obvious.

Check out this blatant attempt to herd youth into their own corral and turn them
against all older generations.

Watch the video at generation-we.com

Who is driving this wedge between "Millennials" (their term) and all older
generations? Who is funding this, and why is it important to blame older
generations?

Please discuss, as this is an excellent example of how society is manipulated and
virtually all do not see it.

The economic, monetary and political system has caused the demographic warfare. It will only intensify. For example, why should any employee be required to pay Social Security tax, in addition to student loans in some cases, when they will never see a single penny?

Many of the younger generation see the older generations as extremely poor stewards and the cause of the current mess. The older generation took a wonderful, free and prosperous country and have squandered the inheritance both political and economic with the current extremely burdensome tax system and police state. The younger generation is pissed and they are the ones who have to live with and raise their family in this mess. In addition, the younger generation is smarter and getting smarter faster. They apply this native ability with the free marketplace of ideas provided by the Internet and have as a generation, both left and right, rapidly embraced a 'libertarian' political philosophy. Millennials are closely aligned with Gen Y.

A great example of the disrespect from the older generation towards the younger generation is personified in John McCain. When a high school student about his age McCain responded rather contemptuously and called him 'a little jerk' and then finished with 'You're drafted.' The older generation's idea that they 'own' the production (SS) and life (endless wars that their friends are dying in) of the younger generation is naturally going to raise some ire. The younger generation does not like the idea of being their slave and in indentured servitude. In effect, the older generation has lost their moral authority. As a result, their institutions, organizations, etc. are rapidly losing power. Just look at corporations, churches, political parties, media outlets, etc.

The Millennial generation will be a force to be reckoned with. They are younger, faster, stronger, smarter and more technologically capable than the older generation. Most importantly instead of being in a drug induced comatose state with limited access to ideas they are alert, proactive and able to rapidly act and react with the aid of technology. Perhaps the most important motivator is that they have their life in front of them and not behind.

When the Millennials who organized for and voted in Obama are as disappointed with him as most Republicans are with Bush then there will be an even more explosive political landscape. America is in for some very interesting years.

sounds like a bunch of socialists - go vote for barak

they probably all buy into "climate change" too because some loaded prof or teacher told them about it since they are so "technologically adept"

whatever, go away gen-we

Im Gen-X and damn proud

This is defitnitely...New World Order stuff..

Weber and Greenberg ....figures!....globalist zionists no doubt...

The older generation, eh? I remember MULTIPLE occasions on this very board during the campaign, where the younger generation discussed their desire for old people to knock off and other assorted goodies. Christian-bashing seems to also be a favorite of the so-called younger generation.

There is plenty of blame to go around. Perhaps we should instead focus on what we have in common and stop buying into this BS wedge, which will do nothing but further divide us.

Stop trampling on my rights in the name of archaic patriotism, and then we'll talk.

Do you consider the Constitution archaic also?

Yikes, what a crock o' $hit.

Millenials can't find Louisiana on a map of the US. They rank 17th in basic educational skills in the industrialized world, just above Mexico.

WASHINGTON (AP)—Despite the wall-to-wall coverage of the damage from Hurricane Katrina, nearly one-third of young Americans recently polled couldn't locate Louisiana on a map and nearly half were unable to identify Mississippi.

The surveyed Americans got a "D," with an average of 23 correct answers. Mexico ranked last with an average score of 21, just three points from a failing grade.

Remember, we have a volunteer army. That means millenials enlist to fight the wars you bemoan.

Young adults in the United States fail to understand the world and their place in it, according to a survey-based report on geographic literacy released today.

The society survey found that only about one in seven -- 13 percent -- of Americans between the age of 18 and 24, the prime age for military warriors, could find Iraq. The score was the same for Iran, an Iraqi neighbor.

Although the majority, 58 percent, of the young Americans surveyed knew that the Taliban and al Qaeda were based in Afghanistan, only 17 percent could find that country on a world map.

They don't vote. Super Tuesday stats show less than 20% voted...when it really mattered. 40% said they weren't interested in politics or the elections. The Obamaites are just jumping on the media bandwagon, clueless to the issues.

I hate 'the generation gap' bullshit label. It's another advertising slogan from the Rockefeller Foundation, designed to divide and conquer.

I dug my grandfather's generation, my father's generation (I miss him terribly) and my sons and their friends. We're all in this together against the Rothschild monetary empire.

Don't buy into the generation gap BS, and brush up on your stats before you deify American 18-29 year olds.

Bosso

Very creepy. I do not identify with "Generation We" at all. Jeez, I'm only 28 and I feel like an old man.

:D Here's something funny: At 1:03 they say this generation is "better educated." At 1:26 they say our "educational system is failing."

I'm confused.

Come on. You guys need to study the enemy a little better. This is right out of the Communist playbook. They've been doing it for decades.

It's one of their most successful tactics. The young are idealistic and ignorant. They're are the most likely to fight for something they know nothing about. As soon as they wake up, the Communists start preying on the next generation.

The milleniums'll marry, have some kids, get up to their ears in 3 family jobs trying to make ends meet, wake up one morning to realize the kids are grown and gone and the larger part of their lives are behind them. And they'll look back on the experience with no regrets. And the post-milleniums will be smarter faster stronger and be all starry-eyed about their future, as they should be.

So it goes.
