Why is Rudy still on the ballot in NY

Just got back from the polls. Pulled the first and last lever I'll ever feel good about. One nice thing is that they put Ron Paul the top of the list.

However, I did notice that Rudy still had a name and a lever. I find that curious considering he dropped out of the race.

Any ideas why this is?

Im in CT and bassically all of them were on the ballot here.
My ballot looked like this!

1) Rudolph Giuliani

2) Fred Thompson

3) Mitt Romney

4) John McCain

5) Duncan Hunter

6) Ron Paul

7) Mike Huckabee

I just looked up what the Dems ballot looked like:
I bet hillary is unhappy

I just voted too. They asked us to remove our stickers, and that they werent allowed within 100 feet. Rudy was still on ballet. The Dems were on the left upper side of the machine and GoP on the bottom, i almost couldnt find them. Ron was first, but 4 slots over to the left of all the others. Rudy was still present. The lady working the machine asked "Do you see it?" I was annoyed she was rushing and we were the only ones in there, lol.

Hubby saw in our local paper that the Ghoul was still on the ballot. I rushed into the booth, picked the good Dr, rushed right out.

By the time the most recent candidates dropped out it was too late to remove them from the ballot. A week or so ago Rudy allies in the state government in NY were trying to get all of the drop outs between Ron Paul (in the 1 slot) and Rudy Giuliani (in the 4 slot) stricken to move him up on the ballot.

guiliani and thompson were still on the ballot. along with kucinich, dodd, richardson, and biden still on the democrat ballot wtf. and mike gravel was not even on the democrat ballot

went to the polls this morning at 8am in Buffalo,

rudy and fred's spots were open but they weren't on the ballot it was blank where their names would have been.

so it was Ron Paul 1st then 2 blank spots before the next candidate towards the bottom.
