Looks real easy to take a trump down...
So why isnt anyone challenging a trump with its own style and gameplan?

I would just use its donations to democrats and especially hilary...
Go after a trump with tough hard hitting words...just like it does...do not let up and mention a clinton and a trump together as much as possible

....yell it from the rooftops...very similar to what a trump does.

Rand is the only one really attacking Trump. Everyone else is scared shitless of Trump for some reason. Fuck Trump I say.

Paul said on Saturday that there is no place for fellow candidate Donald Trump in the Republican Party.
“I think the rhetoric that's divisive that’s coming from Donald Trump is not good for the party or for the country really. And so I’ve been saying for two years that we need a bigger, better, bolder Republican Party. We shouldn't give up on what we believe,” Paul said.

I figure they're all still just following the pre-agreed to script.

Isn't that really why it's often called political theater?

Just put on another repeat show for the rubes and the yokels?

My preliminary copy of the script says Clinton will be elected POTUS with over 38% of the vote (after DT leaves the GOP late in the game and takes *most* of his voters with him for 32%). Rand Paul might get the GOP nomination, but in any case the republican candidate gets 26% of the votes! The other parties (e.g., Green, Libertarian and the Socialist will take the other %'s i.e., 2.3%, 1.6%, and 38%).

Rand Paul has huge balls to take Trump while the rest of the GOP and Dems are scared little pussies!

Can you imagine what kind of disaster a Trump vs. Clinton campaign would be?

An argument meant to appeal to MSNBC viewers, which is why it is failing so badly. OP is suggesting making the case in a way that would appeal to Republican voters. Problem is that other than Cruz and Rand, the other GOP candidates are just as vulnerable as Trump in terms of association and working with Democrats and so they have no room to talk. And Cruz is unlikeable while Rand is simply clueless, so there is nobody that can do what he asks.

Rand has mentioned Trumps democratic donations:

I don't know why it isn't pounded on more by all Republicans. For craps sakes you'd think FOX would be on top of this but apparently they love DT, for whatever the hell reason.

Trump is already well-known as an asshole. It'd be strange for him not to act like one. If Jeb or Carson or someone else starts that routine (and Ben Carson did try several months ago), it sounds strange to the average voter.

The donations issue isn't effective because Trump will just say he donates because of his business (which is true). He would have to be a blindly partisan political donor like George Soros for it to matter.

The business line is very easy to pick apart....predictable for a trump to say this.
Which is why it should be easily destroyed.

So a trump is a big business lobbyist...

And thats just an example...Many more to make it look like a fool.
But to do anything...as someone pointed out...You have to act like an asshole but the right kind of asshole...it has to be played out well.

You have to destroy its ugly dumb face with an onslaught of razor sharp words lol.

This shit doesn't matter to voters. Policies and positions don't matter. Integrity doesn't matter. Record doesn't matter. Hair doesn't matter.

I am surprised how many people here can't see this more clearly.

Trump is a master at marketing and branding and manipulating emotions. The more he wins, the more people want to jump on his band wagon.

I hope that Rand can get something going soon or we are screwed.

Well I aint talkin about playin footsie with a trump thats for sure...
Im talking about using the same manipulation that a trump is supposedly a master at...not using integrity, records or hair...
You know...no holds barred...pull no punches

Act like a New Yorker if you want to to take down a new Yorker!

What part of "hit em hard" do people not understand?
Has anyone even come close to attempt to hit a trump hard?
I think not.

I'm really surprised that mafia affiliations didn't take hold in the mainstream. I really though that would push Trump down....

[h=2]GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)
97%

posted an attack-ad on Twitter before the Democratic debate on Sunday night, “As the ‪#DemDebate begins, Republicans have to wonder which team ‪@realDonaldTrump would play for.”[/h]Attached to Cruz’s tweet was a link to a YouTube video, which is a montage of GOP frontrunner Donald Trump praising Democrat frontrunner Hillary Clinton during interviews in the past.
“She really works hard,” Trump stated in one of the old interviews. “I think she does a good job.”
“They are just really terrific people,” he said of both Bill and Hillary Clinton. “I like them both very much.”
Cruz and Trump have been criticizing one another since questions arose about whether or not Cruz was a “natural born” citizen and eligible to run for President of the United States after an interview Trump did with The Washington Post.

Would be just as ineffective as the donor argument. Everybody in America knows that to do construction in New York City you need to pay off both the mafia and the corrupt pols. Nobody will view Trump as the bad guy in that scenario. He's not demanding bribes. He's the one getting squeezed.

lol nice clip...thanks for helping to enlighten me. I grew up in NY so I have an idea of how that works, but I didn't think the rest of the US did. I thought the average American would be appalled. Either way, couldn't it be followed by some tough scrutiny. For example, did you ever consider informing the FBI, or was implicating yourself in federal offensives not something that crossed your mind?
