1) The bigger splash we make now, the more people will be inspired to get involved. Some of those people will donate time and money, and they will all help spread the message. Ron Paul's 3rd quarter fundraising results woke me from my long stretch of "voter apathy".

It's so refreshing to be part of something this big - to do my part to make the world a better place. Thank you to all the other people who gave so much of their own time and money to help this campaign grow to the point it is now. If it weren't for you, I would still be telling people, "No, I don't really follow national politics - the politicians are all just a bunch of power-grabbing scoundrels."

A special thanks to those of you who dug deep into your pockets or who shuffled their household budgets in the final week of September for that big fundraising effort. The money you donated five weeks ago is paying dividends now because it inspired so many other people and now we're donating too.

2) Some news outlets already reported that we raised 3 million dollars in less than 24 hours. If we raise over 4 million, they'll have to do a new story. And if some news sources report 3 million and others report 4 million, that will generate even more buzz.

3) If we get to 5 million raised in a day, that will be another huge landmark. 5 million for Ron Paul was big news when it was the total for three months. People need to have something to relate it too. For someone who isn't paying attention, a few million dollars raised for a presidential campaign might not sound like a big deal. But if it can be easily expressed as "Ron Paul raised the same amount on one day in November that he raised in July, August, and September combined." then it will be easy to understand the groundswell of support and more people will join in so they can be part of it.

It felt great to write that! Now I'm off to donate $1619.42 which will bring my personal donation total to $2300.

For those of you who were planning to donate $100 for every million raised, just close your eyes and imagine that we raised 6 million today, then go ahead and bring your daily total up to $600. Here's the link:

Awesome dude; it's going to pay off.

We just made the front page of Yahoo, the most popular site on the internet with a 30% reach. That in of itself is probably worth a million or more.

You are one of the many heroes I have met since I joined this Revolution. Thank you for all you are giving and doing.

WOW.. You are a golden god!!

(And so is everyone else taken part in today's revolution ;)

I agree. I gave everything that I could today, and put some on credit. I won't be able to donate anymore this year. I calculated out all the bumper stickers, slim jims, and signs that I would need for the next 3 months, and went in the hole on my credit card to order them and a donation with it.

Instead of giving $20 or $50 here and there, I just gave $169 today and won't be able to give anymore till Jan.

Woot. Another Patriot. If I had the money i'd be maxxed out tonight as well. Guess I'll need to go back to man whoring to max out on a Dec 25th money bomb.

"Hey Fox News, you can ignore this but you can't stop us from donating millions and you sure as hell can't stop this Revolution."

Great Scott!

I was waiting for a Back to the Future pun.

Of course FluxCapacitor can donate $2300 now. All he has to do is go to the future and buy a sports history book, come back, and gamble. :)
