Why Havent I seen a RP Commercial ??

If you want more ads, you have to keep donating. Ron does not have enough money to compete head-to-head with the other candidates.

I don't understand? McCain only has $2 Million on hand while Dr. Paul has $8 Million+ and yet I've seen like 5 McCain commercials here in California and none for Dr. Paul. I've also seen many for Romney but he has his own wealth to take care of him...

Why don't I see any commercials, why aren't they spending all their money, why is Ron Paul not in first place... c'mon, let's keep on the positive, everyone's working hard.

Exactly- we are working hard. But, it would be nice to know where our hard earned dollars are going also, I think its a fair question. I would simply like to know if i should expect a commercial in NY- i dont watch too much MSM or TV, but when i do, its Obama Obama Obama ads. I had to change the channel repeatedly, and just turned it off after awhile.

On the other hand, i got a message from Ron tonight. I will never be deleting that message!

New York is a winner take all and a closed primary, why waste the money there?

Agreed. As much as I'd like to see some Ron Paul ads on the big screen, the money is better spent in other states where he has a reasonable chance of winning or at least picking up delegates.

I've seen McCain and Huckbee commercials on CNN tonight...these are obviously nationwide because Michigan has already voted. RP supposedly has more cash on hand than either of those morons, but not one RP commerical? WTF?!? This is bullshit! I've donated a lot already and this is really pissing me off.

The campaign hasn't exactly been keeping its advertising plans secret. They issued press releases about airing radio ads in Louisiana, Maine, Florida, Alabama, California, Colorado, Georgia, and North Dakota, and another press release about airing radio and TV ads in Minnesota.

If you haven't seen a Ron Paul ad in your state, it's probably good strategy -- New York is winner take and all and too expensive to compete in, and Oregon isn't until May, for instance.

A few national ads might have been good to help the poll numbers and donations, but every dollar is precious and the campaign seems to be spending them wisely.

Man do all you whiners have ADD?? After tomorrow there is still 1/2 the country to vote, and it's looking pretty positive that no one is gonna be close to the required delgates after tomorrow. If you haven't figured out the campaign's strategy yet you obviously don't pay attention.

Funny thing is we all want to know what he's doing with the money :P I still believe he has a plan, but I honestly keep wondering where it is going haha.

I've been hearing Ron Paul radio ads everyday. I like it, one minute of excitement in the car.

QFT.

Campaign dollars aren't limitless and the $8.4 million that HQ asked for BY FEB 5TH hasn't come in. We're only at $5.2 million.

Want ads everywhere? Then donate.

Otherwise, HQ must concentrate on only the most immediately crucial states.

EDA: As to the comments about McWar and Huck being broke, both men are bringing in money this month. McWar especially is picking up gobs of it.

Oh he has a plan. I've heard radio ads during Rush Limbaugh here in Ohio on the major conservative AM network, 55KRC. Ohio's primary is not until March 4 and it's a very important late state with 88 delegates. It's also a conservative neo-con paradise with the exception of northern Ohio cities which are quite liberal. Lots of potential here. This tells me there is some kind of long-term plan and I can only speculate as to what it is.

It's hilarious to hear Rush discuss the "top 3" candidates, Mittens, McWar and Huck, and when it goes to commercial... "Presidential candidate RON PAUL..." :D

How's that for effect?

no.. if he blows his whole wad, he'd be right where the rest are.. out of funds.

He is preparing to make it to the second set of contests.......that is the way I see it.. YET spending that 17mil is sorta lame.. but we are in it for the long haul.. no use in spending it all now.. when there is a 4 man race..

4 man race? But but but, Romney already told me it's a two man race! Oh, i'm confused now.

Yes, if you want more ads, donate more money. But, remember this - Dr. Paul is very wise. He knows we want him to go all of the way. He is setting up this election to do just that. People have to stop doubting, and keep canvassing. The other guys will run out of money. We are winning! Never forget that! Forget the negativity that is seeping out to you from the media. This is a huge country. The other campaigns are spending fortunes and are in debt. We are not in debt. Have faith! We still have half of the country to go, and can pull this off while the rest are trying to pay off debt. If Huck doesn't do well, he will have to go. Then it will be three....

Whatever the strategy, it isn't working. If RP doesn't have 300+ delegates after tomorrow, the votes and money will continue to dry up.

That will just prove that people are USELESS. Give up the fight cause we're having a hard time? Well if people were going to do that, why did anyone even get started?

If we pick up enough delegates, and McCain and Romney split the vote enough to force a brokered convention then we have a fighting chance. That's the long-term strategy, and it looks to be working.

Didn't see any TV ads here in New York. Admittedly, it's not a good state for him to compete in, but how the hell do McCain and Huckabee have the cash to run ads here when Dr. Paul has so much more money.
