During Glenn Beck's election coverage, an audience member asked what would happen with the relationship between the U.S. and Israel going forward.

"It couldn't get worse," he said. "I happen to agree with Ron Paul. Ron Paul just issued a statement and said look out, with the Republicans coming in. Their solution for ISIS is going to be boots on the ground."

"The John McCains and the Mitch McConnells - that's the way they understand the Middle East. At the same time, there is hope because the Republicans are going to stand by Israel. But my support for Israel isn't to put boots on the ground. It's to say 'Israel we love you, go do what you have to for your country.'"

Beck is frequently correct, but he still catches crap from this site regardless. Perhaps the fact that he is right so often is indicative that while he isn't perfect, he is still pretty good.

Beck says some good things, but I'm having a hard time forgiving him for this one:

As well as his shilling for Mitt...

Mind you, if he changed his mind about those things, of course I'd forgive him. But as long as he sticks to it? Ugh... I'll stick with Ron...

I'll give credit where credit's due, but I don't trust Beck.

Lot of people here thinks it is a matter of trusting Beck, but it isn't. He isn't running for office, he is offering his opinion.

Thing is - it is the treachery his kind like to perpetuate that prevent REAL change from happening. Many good patriots trust Beck and Palin - yet when it came time to tell them who they should vote for - Beck threw Ron Paul under a RIDICULOUS George Soros bus??? Palin threw her support behind the establishment as well.

Sorry - you don't get to be "right" on the issues yet sell out the principles you supposedly espouse when you recommend people vote for someone who does NOT espouse those principles.

I understand. But i still recognize he could throw us under the bus at any time. I hope he won't, but I'm preparing for him to.

This. And this is also why I will never support The Republican Party. Lots of great rhetoric. But that is all.

I don't know who on this forum said years ago that "Beck is a friend when you don't need him and a knife in the back when you do."

He's for the Patriot act when it's rammed through, but then he's against it when there is no chance of repeal.

He's blubbering like an idiot for bailouts for the banks when it's being rammed through and against them when the bankers have taken the money and ran.

He's against the wars after he's shilled for them.

He's for Ron Paul when there is no chance for him to be elected after slandering him when he was just gaining traction and could have really made a difference.

Yeah, Beck is awesome.

With Beck it's just too much like Lucy pulling the football out from under Charlie Brown. He becomes very hard to take seriously.

Especially in this video where RP supporters are accused of being terrorists.

Beck can take a flying fart to the moon- can't trust him.

I'm not a Beck fan, but when he's right, he's right.

This is particularly interesting. Not a remark at you directly, but I find it somewhat provoking. Anyone who's watched beck (aka beckstabber) with any frequency, knows that he's in the Israel first crowd. I've heard him state many times of how he could not support Ron Paul for various reasons - that changed over time until the last presidential run when beck stated that he liked Dr Paul, but could not vote for him due to Ron Paul's stance on Israel (Dr Paul wants to stop the foreign aid madness and pay Israel, as well as its enemies). So when things heat up and Dr Paul had gained more momentum than ever, beckstabber has Dr Paul on his show - here's the full clip:

So beckstabber has the obligatory Paul visit, so he can hit him with the Israel first issue - which was the attack du jour by the MSM at the time. Beck just wanted to get that thing over with ( just look at the body language and the brevity of the segment) - of course, he saves the Israel question for last, and then shrugs off Paul into a commercial break. IT was discrete to the uninitiated, but that's beck being a coward when it really counted. See him engage his other guests - compare that to the Paul interview I posted above. Beck can cry at the drop of a hat, but he's still a sh!tty actor...

So who did beck (Mr I dont endorse candidates) endorse in that race? Contrast the following interview with the prior one with Dr Paul - is beck engaged?

And now for some real fkn irony - the original post in this thread : "I happen to agree with Ron Paul. Ron Paul just issued a statement and said look out, with the Republicans coming in." Holy fkn irony-city... Population = BECK.

Wait Wait Wait, let me post that again: "I happen to agree with Ron Paul. Ron Paul just issued a statement and said look out, with the Republicans coming in." The same man just a few years ago that beck could not support, has somehow changed glenn's mind - how often does beck change his mind? Oh, for fk sake, why dont people see this man for who he really is? Forgive me... I have a hard time tolerating absolute weasels.

Yes - Beck is always right, when it doesnt count, and he will kick you square in the ballz when it does.

You know, while I'm on the rant, another thing to snicker about is frothy's message about "sound money" and the fed - LOL. Almost as disgusting as using a straw to.....never mind.

Oh yea - here is Glenn's non-endorsement for those who did not catch it. Anyone who watches beck knows that that he would perform full out fellatio on George Washington - he loves the guy that much - while the poor George Washington's remains would not be able to fight him off. What's say beckstabber about frothy?

Dont let me discourage anyone from watching beck... Just make sure you watch him closely, and dont put too much faith in what he portrays to be.

It isn't a matter of what a person says, its a matter of that person believing what they are talking about.

How much fear does the guy sling? And when? ...and that's how I measure.

"support for Israel" when you are a citizen of a country that is $17(?) trillion in debt is slinging fear. And if you have to sling fear, it's the wrong fear to be slinging.

At the same time, there is hope because the Republicans are going to stand by Israel.

STFU Seriously? What kind of schizophrenic talk is that? (no offense meant to the schizophrenics)

What the hell does that mean? Boots on ground killing people bad but drones in air killing people good?

Pathetic and disgusting. Use Beck if you think you must, but expect what comes from ignoring courage, humbleness, and any kind of meaningful consistency.

I became a libertarian because of Glenn Beck and then when I found that he was an overall shill I freed myself from that and came to this site.

Used to trash talk him all the time but I haven't been cursed with hearing Beck in a while. He always does this. In between critical points he's usually right but when crunch time comes... expect him to get crunched by the establishment and sell out.

It will happen again in 2016.

Okay. I'm no Beck fan. But I'm happy he's putting this warning out and he's not using it as an opportunity to trash Ron. I was happy to see the GOP lose the house and senate to Pelosi and Reid because I thought it would spell the end of those stupid wars. It didn't. I'm happy to see the Democrats lose the house and the senate because I hope that it will spell the end of Obamacare, Common Core and the fake global warming cap and trade agenda among other things. But I fear that it won't. If the GOP uses their victories to push for more intervention in Syria, when that's what caused the problem in the first place, I will be mad as hell.

Might as well start wearing this face - Lol.
