Why Donald Trump will never win the nomination

And Bubba, W, and Obummer will never get elected POTUS a second time. :p

That was different. Bush, Obama, and Bill Clinton were all backed by politicians. Donald Trump doesn't have any political endorsements. Donald Trump does not have the support of any political elites. You think voters choose the President? You aren't that naive.

And none of those clowns was a multibillionaire.

Nate is taking the same view as me... that Trump is this years Guilani or Cain who also led in Nov/Dec. I think Ted Cruz will win it in Iowa and NH. Sad but true

If he gets both Iowa and NH he has the nomination pretty much locked up, no?

So, you only need politician endorsements in order to get more donations.

So the national convention takes place and the RNC committee made up of politicians changes the rules and votes that Donald Trump is not the nominee because he supports universal health care. I don't know how to make this anymore clear.

Stay tuned and watch.

It is doubtful but if you have read the article this is the very very last hurdle before Donald Trump can be the nominee.

If the GOP pisses Trump off too much he says that he'll just run independent, 3rd party. Personally, I tend to believe him. The GOP has been warned.

Donald Trump only has 6 percent of the overall electorate(Republicans, Independents, and Democrats) If he runs third party some won't vote for him because he will be a wasted vote so he'll get even less than 3 percent of the vote.

I'd agree, single digits as an indy. But Trump would hand the election to the Clintons as an indy ala Perot. That may be the plan all along.

If he holds out all the way till the convention where the RNC committee denies him. He won't have have time to file his papers and get on all the ballots.

I do not buy into the whole Hillary-Trump conspiracy but I could see this happening and of course that will only add weight to it. If they are going to corrupt the process to prevent him, then he should. (I wish Ron had). You would think the consequences would serve them right but sometimes I think they would be fine losing to Hillary rather than have Trump or Rand as the nominee.

Cruz they may hold their nose for but ultimately I think they prefer Jeb or Rubio at all costs.

Rand has Mitch McConnell backing him that should have some influence on the RNC Committee.
