Why does the RNC like losing elections on purpose?

They support the worst candidates you can find against the Democrats, so why do they do it?

The national party and some of the state level parties are out of touch with the electorate. Some of that was addressed in 2012 with liberty folks getting elected to leadership positions and taking over a couple state parties. A lot of them left their position (or got forced out) and now are working with Rand's campaign. What usually happens when there is a takeover, the old guard will make moves to dry up the treasury, then accuse the new folks of not being able to handle the money.

My SWAG is, losing elections removes the heat, burden and responsibility of having to try to lead and govern.

Nobody is really losing. The upper echelon of RNC stays in place. I think the one party system was explained long time ago during Ron's runs.

The elites don't care who the slave masters are, they just want the machine to keep rolling. If anyone dare run against them, they are automatically disqualified for being "too kooky".

The Republican establishment has more in common with the Democrats than their own party base. They would rather lose to the Democrats to ensure a candidate wins the Presidency that more closely reflects their beliefs than nominate a real Conservative.

So one could say they win ideologically every 4 years regardless which party wins the Presidency.

The other issue is they seem content on letting 3 or 4 states decide the general election. It would get interesting if more states started sending Electors by CDs like NH and NE. Also, take the party affiliations off the ballots.

The same people and corporations own both parties. Whoever the Puppetmasters want to win will win.

i think its because they are too afraid of trying to get new voters vs. losing their base.

what they havent realized is, their base is dying on and the way out...by 2052, minorities will be the majority of voters in the US. right now, 10% of GOP voters are minorities.

They dont want to piss off the 90% in order to grow the 10%...but they are doing so in a short-sighted manner.

What they have failed to realize is the turning point of the minority vote being the election decider was 2012.

Pretty close to my view. Losing the Presidency takes the heat off of Congress, which is largely controlled by Republicans.

Sadly, a divided government is the least destructive one we're offered, so things could be worse...

It's not optimal for the elites to lose the grip on their two party charade, but growing the GOP with libertarians is even worse for them. So, for the time being, the puppet masters are content with recurring Democratic administrations. What happens next is anybody's guess.

The Republican party splits, and splits its vote for the next however many decades, allowing the socialist warmonger party free reign.

they know it, and they are content with having the house, and sometimes the senate. if they really wanted the presidency they would have pushed electoral reform, and selected the electoral college by congressional district in WI, OH, MI, FL, PA, and VA.

they want cheap labor, subsidized by the government, for their friends on Wall Street. the next president will propose national servitude, with the promise of free college, and it could pass. of course there will be no college slots for white males.
