why does revolutionmarch.com still suck?

Well if your referring to the site design, I've done my part. I've sent the design in to be looked over by the organizers but haven't received a response on what to add / change / move around ect.

So either they're really busy, or they've chose someone else to do it for them.

Or maybe the official campaign is making one, who knows. I've been left completely in the dark unfortuantly.

I don't even understand how this became the official site. I would have voted against it for sure. There are so many better websites.

It's true it's a mess!! When they came up with the idea, they hastily threw a site up to generate interest. That was 8 days ago. Since then, we've been overwhelmed with the response. In fact Wednesday's conference call couldn't handle the volume, so we rescheduled for Thursday, which had a small turn-out but a very productive, creative group of brainstormers.

They want the website to be exceptional, so it's taking longer than expected. Also, it's important to give the webdesigners who are willing to do this pro-bono first stab at it to see if we can use the budget elsewhere. In fact, this is one of the advantages to having grassroots organize this. We are getting a huge response from professional people who love Ron Paul and his message who are willing to work pro-bono. We may end up with around 200 people working in sub-committees on this.

that is NOT the official site at all.

The site needs to be done by the people who are running this thing. That site can be a cool site to see any updates though.

One thing I can say though. A large march on washington will need more the a feedburner and a ron paul graphic about sign ups to bring a real crowd over.

I still never get why people make a site and assume it can be used as the "official" anything.... grassroots people BUT an event that is trying to generate tens of thousands of people needs to be nice and professional and NOT a copy cat money bomb style site....

Wait, are these the same people who ran the budget for the blimp? LOL, if so then NEXT PLEASE. I really hope if that is true that they LEARN the difference between volunteering and profiteering because we ALL know which one the blimp team did TOO much of.

I want to get some real PEOPLE behind this, know the names and people be accountable so to speak. Transparency is the only way ANYTHING will get funded and I mean transparent penny by penny once I saw the blimp in its true colors and then that damn race car site.

Who is "they" who threw a site together? Are they organizing this thing and if so is there a list of names as far as those who are in charge vs. those who are helping as well as better make sure people are not EARNING salaries for "helping" with this because guess what, there are thousands of grassroot members HERE who will be doing the paying, driving, flying and so forth so WE are the ones who deserve and funds versus someone or multiple people who think that simply because they were apart of this "planning" committee they can get a cut.

Everyone is out for money even for great causes like this one and its sad.

NEW SITE ANYONE?

I mean its just a domain $10 and a design $FREE, not really something that cant be done CORRECTLY.

I do not personally like the revolutionmarch site or the name itself. I do not see a revolution or a march even being what ron paul was even talked about.

Come on people lets not just buy a $10 domain and think its DONE, research needs to happen by those who actually know what they are doing and those people are Ron Paul and whoever HE is setting this thing up with and NOT a forum or a username.

I hope someone comes up with a new site, domain and design real soon that can really get this RALLY going well. Its not like a large investment was made in a domain.

Was there even a name the rally thread?

If a real name was setup then I think the domain STILL needs to be bought and then setup by the people who are RUNNING this thing and not just someone who got a domain and trying to design something is the real point.

We are trying to grab the worlds attention here and that site name, design or whatever it was that just needed the word money bomb on it really needs to be turned into more of an info site or something rather then any so called CLAIM to be official.

Official would be this

ronpaul2008.com/rally-in-dc

not a domain some guy bought for $10 and tossed it in his sig file on a forum. We are trying to accomplish a rally that gets national and worldwide news here people and we need a profession designer, someone who actually researched a NAME that actually attracts a broad amount of people.

It needs to attract mom dad and the kids and do you really see "Revolution March" screaming family event in the least? NOPE.....

Next one and by next one I mean by a person who is WITH the official campaign.

RonPaulMarch.com is a site for marches across the country, but is also organizing for the DC march. It currently has a lot more functionality.

I'm glad to hear there is work being done on the Revolution March site, though.

Please be patient. The new and improved site will be up as soon as possible. And no, we have nothing to do with the Blimp!!

With regards to the name, "Revolution March" keep in mind that even Dr. Paul has referred to the 'Ron Paul Revolution'. The media knows about it, and besides, the beauty of it is the emphasis on the word "LOVE" in it. Revolutions don't necessarily have to be violent.

But, I suggest that if you feel strongly about it, you let Ray and Bryan know.

I'd rather the march have nothing to do with Ron Paul other than him being the main speaker. I want this march to appeal to everyone who thinks the constitution is more than just a "God damned piece of paper"

I want Kucinich fans there I want Obama fans there I want everyone there who knows something is wrong with this country.

If Ron Paul only speaks to a group of his own supporters he's going to be preaching to the choir. I want him to speak to everyone who knows something is fucked up with this country but don't quite know how to put it together into a belief system.

Ron Paul converted me from an Obama fan to a libertarian. He can do the same for many others. But if we call this the Ron Paul march or the Revolution march it will only scare people away. Call it the constitution march. Call it the remember our rights march. Call it anything but the Ron Paul Revolution march or the revolution march or the Ron Paul march.

I want to catch people off gaurd and inform people BEFORE they close their minds to the ideas just because it's coming from "Those crazy paulites"

Well you'd best go and organize one then. Because the march I am going to is the Ron Paul Revolution march and Kucinich supporters will come because Kucinich will be there i suspect.

I'm not the only one who thinks this way. In fact I'd say the majority of this forum would rather see a broad education of constitutional rights rather than another Ron Paul rally.

The goal should be to educate people. Not to preach to the choir.
