Because of all the people who believe them.
This.
Because of all the people who believe them.
Fox is a semi-official network of the Republican party; they control much of the discussion.
there is hope; Cavuto is fair and to a lesser degree Hannity (more so to Rand but its a start)
Beck is the surprise. a year ago I thought Beck would be on board.
Seriously, if you're waiting for the day that these talking head morons do anything other than bash Ron Paul, you're going to wait a very long time.
Maintaining the status quo is top priority for neocon radio talk show hosts (and the Fox News Network)...they get their marching orders/talking points from the GOP establishment that must be delivered to the sheep every day. I don't expect anything more or less from them...they are part of the reason why we're in the mess we're in.
This pretty much sums up how I feel about it too.Lol and you really think you are going to convert those people? They hate Ron Paul with a passion and think he is clinically insane. The only people you are really going to bring on board are the ones who arent politically proactive. Yea, sure you might convert a few of those sheep who follow neocon rule, but its not worth it. I never really followed politics much and didnt consider myself aligned with any party for a real long time or any idea/following/group until Ron hit the scene. Then you have people who were never into politics at all (virgins). Those are the people you have an excellent rate and chance winning over, because if they compare Ron to the rest of the crap out there, their choice would be obvious immediately.
Im just saying its better time spent trying to woo people who arent politically proactive much, if at all. Wasting time on the followers of the bloodthirsty goblins who want endless war and have signed onto the falsehood of American exceptionalism and 'protect IL at all costs' is hopeless.
Good point IMO.Earlier on, like 4 years ago, most people did not know who Ron Paul was. So I think many Ron Paul supporters thought that if we could just get one of these radio guys on our side, it would give us a huge boost. We saw the power over their listeners that they have. So every time they said something bad about Ron Paul, it stung. We imagined millions being turned off to Ron Paul before they even had a chance to know what he's about.
But nowadays, I do believe they are less and less relevant, especially after the Iowa and New Hampshire results. Radio is just 1 channel out of many, and the percentage of people who listen to Rush and Beck and take it as gospel are a small percentage of those who go out and vote.
