The Peace Through Religion forum is designed to having "respectful discussion of religious topics and their surrounding philosophies with the primary purpose of peaceful social exchange and personal enrichment to help bring forth a better world." which is inline with the site usage guideline of "Be respectful of others' religion or lack there of."
This new guideline was added due to a long train of complaints about religions being "bashed" and the like. As being respectful is a necessary element for broad appeal discussion, and our objective here, is was decided to limit our focus.
That said, I would like to open the floor to a public discussion between myself and other members here that do not need to follow this guideline.
The objective of this is as follows:
Ground Rules and Notes:
In summary...
The topic question is: Do you view any specific religion as unfavorable, bad, wrong or the like? If so, why? Explain what, how, why, etc.
If you can get offended by harsh religious discussion then please do not read beyond this point. Thank you.

The objective of this is as follows:
- To allow everyone to expressive their religious views in whole, even if not respectful to others. Some members feel the guidelines are too restrictive, this will give them an outlet.
- Allow me to better understand others' positions.
- Allow me to challenge others' positions.
- This will provide data for possible changes to the site guidelines. I have no idea what or how this will go, so it's just an experiment.
Ground Rules and Notes:
- The only limitation to posting is to not make it in reference to other site members. This is about religions / theology / etc, not member personalities here. (No graphic images either.)
- No one will be banned, have an infraction given, or otherwise be moderated so long as rule #1 is not broken.
- This discussion is between me and the members, do no post to counter-argue with other members. It will be off-topic and deleted. You can send PM's.
- If you want to start a new topic, and this thread is already on-going, send me a PM and I will start a new thread on your behalf.
- If a thread gets too many people posting in it on different topics I may split it for organizational purposes. Four active participates in a thread is pushing it.
- If you can get offended by harsh religious discussion then please do not read this thread.
