I support Ron Paul because of his allegiance to the Constitution. That is why I support Ron Paul.

Why are you supporting Ron Paul?

he's the most fiscally-conservative candidate to ever contend for president

Foreign policy, economic policy, his integrity, his love of America and the Constitution. He really is the Jefferson of our times.

I'm a Democrat, but I support a Libertarian-Populist policy (it is the party of Jefferson, Jackson, and William Jennings Bryan after all). I found no true hope for ending the Iraq War in the Dems, except Kucinich who's not really electable. So after watching more and more Youtube videos about him, I dropped all more support for the Dems to become a Paulite.

in rough order of importance

1. war on terror
2. police state
3. military spending/mil. ind. complex
4. war on drugs
5. other special interests esp. pharma & media
6. income tax
7. foreign 'aid'
8. engage relations with cuba, venezuela, iran, russia, etc

I'm a Libertarian and, while I don't agree with Paul on all the issues, he is the closest candidate to my ideology I can ever remember in the two major parties. That's the main reason I'm voting for Ron Paul.

One thing that makes it easier is that I believe our single biggest challenge as a country lies in how we handle the situation in Iraq. Ron Paul is the only candidate with the right answer when it comes to foreign policy. We have to stop nation building immediately.
