I am 100% sure there are things that every single dem and rep candidate have said that can be misconstrued as racist, sexist, homophobic, ignorant or just plain dumb. Why cant we find those, and plaster them all over the internet???

And it's not to say - hey, everyone is a horrible racist/homophobe. It's to say - everyone can have their words twisted, everyone can be made to look like someone they are not if the right people get ahold of the right thing.

Didnt Huckster say something to the effect of - homosexuality should be a capital crime? And compare homosexuality to necrophilia on a book that he wrote?

Didnt Hillary say the Gandhi once ran a gas station in her neighborhood?

Didnt McCain say he hated "gooks" and always will?? (that's gonna be great for foreign policy)

Isnt Obama a member of a pretty radical church?

everyone EVERYONE can be a victim of what Dr. Paul is being made a victim of here. And not just random newsletters, I am talking about audio clips, published books, etc. I say fight fire with fire.

I don't agree with these types of tactics. It's one thing to attack someone's character or record. It's another thing to make up crazy claims about other candidates.

All what needs to be done is that we need to stay positive, keep our heads up, and this will blow over. This is politics as usual. These documents aren't new. They are old, and have been known about for sometime. They are just resurfacing in an attempt to smear Paul.

All this looks much worst than it actually is. My prediction is in a week or so it will be yesterdays news, just how the $500 Don Black donation was.

you have the right idea I think

It's my humble opinion that the only way we can begin to change the hearts and minds of American people is by Exposing these hacks, and bringing their unsavory practices to the public eye. Only by tearing down these so-called-leaders wishy washy facade of ethics and morals and use their own poison against them will we be able to win over the people of this nation. I've read several posts from people talking about how we need to get the gloves off and start thowing some punches. I TOTALLY AGREE. People don't seem to respond to soft facism, but they sure might respond to HARD QUESTIONS. Did any of you actually take the time to READ some of the supposed news letters by Dr. Paul? I bet that many of you just skimmed them over without giving them any real thought... It is quite obvious which letters Paul wrote, and which he didnt. If you cant tell the difference in the two tones then look again. So now the part that will piss people off: I think those letters coming out are the best thing that ever happened to RP. Right now Paul is being soft in the public eye....reserved and almost timid. PEOPLE DONT RESPOND TO TIMID they respond to getting slapped around in the face with information that makes their stomachs curl!

"The powerbrokers don't want you to know their plans, of course. It's so much easier to shear the sheep when they don't recognize the barber... but you and I aren't sheep, and we won't stand to be fleeced." -Ron Paul

"I've been told not to talk, but these stooges don't scare me. Threats or no threats, I've laid bare the coming race war in our big cities, the federal cover-up on AIDS, the Bohemian Grove---perverted, pagan playground of the powerful. Skull and Bones the demonic fraternity that George Bush and leftist senator John Kerry, Conress Mr. New Money. The Israeli lobby, which plays Congress like a cheap harmonica. The Soviet style "smartcard" the Justice Department has in mind for you." -Ron Paul

You don't have to believe that 911 was an inside job to believe there is a New World Order Agenda...and personally I SALUTE THIS BRAVE MAN for bringing things to the table twenty years ago that SOME ARE TOO COMPLACENT to even discuss today! Please READ what this man is trying to tell us. If there is any doubt in anyone's mind I hope then that some quotes from a real truthbringer like RP will make you think....if even for a moment....that maybe Alex Jones isn't as nutty as you all think.

I submit to you know that the platform of soft and cuddly politics is no longer a viable option. If what happened in NH last night and the Media Blackout hasn't been enough to convince you that some 'conspiracy theories' might be true...then you sir, need a CAT scan.

I Think these letters are a tool. Meanwhile, while people scramble to figure out how we can come up with plausible denail, I am kicking myself in the ass wondering why we are not shoving NWO info-bombs into the minds of every person we meet! Ron Paul shouldnt distance himself from this, he should embrace it (except for the ONE or TWO racial statements made in a letter obviously not written by him). When Ron mentioned the Trilateral Commission on Television, I almost wet my pants. Paul needs an event to make him go nuclear, and I think this is it. A Non-violent revolution will not be possible unless we galvanize the American people against the system that has deceived them into voluntary enslavement. You don't rile people up with sunshine and lollipops.

Let me clarify my idea a little here - I dont want to "attack" other candidates and expose them as racists or bigots or anything. What I'd like to do is show that every candidate has said or done things in the past (much more recently than the newsletters with Dr. Paul's name on them) that can be taken as racist or at the very least ignorant.

I agree, I do not like attack adds, or bashing other candidates, and I do not think that's Dr. Paul's style either. But if we can say - look, John McCain said some things about Asian people that he probably regrets, Huckabee has said some things about homosexuals that are pretty hateful, and I'm sure he regrets, and Dr. Paul has had some words published under his name that he also regrets were ever put on paper. It's not as dissimilar as some individuals and groups are making it out to be. I dont think it's smart to portray it as some conspiracy theory, just say that maybe people are not aware that Hillary made disparaging remarks about Gandhi, or that Romney lied about his father "marching with MLK" to deflect some criticism of his some called his racist religious beliefs.

That doesnt make any of it right. It just doesnt make Paul any more "wrong" than any of the other candidates.

Romney lied about his father "marching with MLK"

I wonder if his father took part in all of the crazy prostitute parties that he threw.. =p

Guess we will never know..

Quick I have read some of your posts and I've got to say you have your head int he right place!

When Dr. Paul steps into the oval office there wont be a soul in teh world who can say "he did this dishonestly." We are the only group out there who will keep it positive no matter what (my fiance supports Obama and they *claim* to be positive but even he sends out negative newsletters about how bad hillary is). If Ron Paul were to stoop to that kind of tactics then his message would be lost - it's a message of hope and positive change, and to do that we need to fight the systenm by not becoming a part of it.

Put these negative thoughts out of your mind. When your friends come up to tyou and say "I heard Ron Paul is a racist" there's no need to say "oh yeah well let me tell you something about Huckabee" - you just stand your ground and you let them know that Dr. Paul is the best man for the job without saying that everybody else is the worst.

Not sure I agree with the tactic, but...

Race-baiting is not new to politics, and even in this campaign it's been lobbed at McCain, Romney and Paul on the RNC side. I say let's move on.
