I thought we already had taken a vote in LA??? And it looked like RP had won or at least placed second, and that we had around 30 percent of the delegates. Im confused.

Why are they voting again tonight???

They have a caucus that choose about 1/2 their delegates (where we did well). Then they have a Presidential Preference Primary. In that primary if one candidate gets 50%+ of the vote he gets all of the delegates, if not, the 1/2 that were choosen in the caucus choose the rest.

Or something like that.

Which basically means if noone gets 50% and RP wins his challenege to the Caucus, he gets all the delegates (his caucus delegates would choose the remaining national delegates)

Gotta love Louisiana politics.

Right now Huck is leading with 45%, but I don't think that he is going to get to 50%.
