The reason is that Paul is simply not a "front runner" or leading in the polls. It is sad, but that is really how a whole lot of people make up their mind.

Of course. He knows it, we know it, and the Revolution will continue long after this election.

Blah blah blah.
He might not win.

Or he might wake people up in time to take the brokered convention.

Either way, if you believe in Ron Paul and you believe in his message and the movement itself, it means you don't let the negative attitude (the paradigm of false realism) deter you from fighting the good fight.

Step up.

Indeed, only sheep vote for someone on the basis of frontrunner status.

It is a selfdestructive thing to vote for someone you don't like simply because you have been told over and over that the person you do like has not chance.

I AM selfdestructive, but I also have my dignity. So, there's no way I'll vote for McClintRomney. EVER

Well, then. Count me among the 5% who will.

if black people knew about his positions... he would get all the minority vote

I guess that's just the mindset of our nation's political philosophy--democracy is supreme. The majority rules, which means the 51% will always win and be "right."

By the way, I don't believe we're a democracy. Our country was set up to function as a constitutional republic.

This is so true. Yesterday my young son and I were in the grocery store and he saw superbowl merchandise. He said he wanted a Patriots shirt and I asked why as he had never shown any love for them. He said, "Because everyone knows they're gonna' win, that's why. You have to go with the team that will win even if you don't like them." All I could think of was this campaign.

Actually, Dr. Paul is the only front runner. The MSM has made sure Susie and Jimmie "numb nuts" does not know that. Thank you too for reinforcing the "numb nuts" stellar decision to stick their finger in a light socket while their other thumb is up their ass.

I make the point ot people that their vote won't make a lick of difference becasue all these candidates accept for Ron Paul will continue to spend our money over seas......even if Obama brings the troops home, whcih he won't for like 3 years into his presidency, all those many many other military bases over seas will be draining us of 100s of billions of dollars.....nothing will change with any of them accpt RP, so your vote is waisted....... that's why no one wins with any of the others...... if we hammer this one point away, people will awaken from their slumber and vote!
This is a marathon and we must mobilize to inform the public....... the revolution has just started!

Then what you are saying is that all we need to do is get him to win in some states, and that perception will start to shift. :)

We can do this! The advantage is in states that have caucuses, and especially those with low turnout. And don't forget the importance of delegates.

And remember in October how unlikely the fundraising goal of $12M for the 4th quarter seemed? By October 31, only $2.7M of that goal had been met. Imagine our surprise if, at that time, we could have looked into the future and see Ron Paul ending the quarter with $19.5M. If we had had a defeatist attitude, it would not have happened.

The reason is if you're not a Precinct Leader, the word won't get out to the 1000 voters in 500 homes in your neighborhood.

Not sayin' that's the reason in your case, just making a general case...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there was a very good reason that only a White, free man over 21 who owned property was entitled to vote.

I love how the founding fathers were so right about everything, but people will argue that they didn't know what they were talking about when it came to race and gender.

We will get exactly what we deserve based on our false belief in egalitarianism.
