ADA is the Americans with Disabilities Act. Joseph The Libertarian has mentioned this 5+ times throughout this thread. Honestly, it's trollish behavior, IMHO. Joseph, just make another thread on your ADA rant.

My two cents. This thread had NOTHING to do with the ADA. I'm Deaf, and I am disabled. For the record, I don't think Deaf folks should be a part of the ADA, because I view myself and other Deaf people as being a linguistic minority. In my sig, it clearly identifies some affiliation with people who are physically disabled.

Joseph The Libertarian seems to be goading me into responding for some reason, and I guess it worked. But honestly, your intentions don't seem to be good-natured. It seems like a divisive tactic, IMHO, and was completely uncecessary and unrelevant to the topic at hand.

Ron Paul is trying to show that he is the Grand Uniter. Barack Obama is NOT a uniter. He and the corporate owned mainstream media are the dividers. You fall into the trap of being a divider. The purpose of Ron Paul, IMHO, is to turn the ship around, not rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic. But that means ending the undeclared wars, bringing our troops home, auditing the fed, maybe some stuff with the income tax, getting our money sorted out, that stuff.

And its HUGGGGGGGGEEE stuff. It's stuff that the Old Right and the Progressive Left can unite on for 8 to 10 years. Then bicker over everything else. Why are you bringing up the ADA in all of this ? Ron Paul himself laughed at the GOP for criticizing S-CHIP yet promoting trillion dollar wars.

Make another thread if you wish on the ADA. My energies and focus are harnessed on the essentials, as I see it. You make my job exposing other Deaf people to Ron Paul's message that much harder, Joseph The Libertarian. If I were you, I'd back off.

my wife is disabled but we get nothing from any programs from the ADA and my daughter has epilepsy and we got nothing from any programs from the ADA. so joseph is just a prick because i believe in the ADA!!

Penn & Teller did an episode about the ADA, and I think they hit equally with me on just about all my opinions on it.

But the thread isn't about the ADA at all, so talk about how Jesse should shave his head again.

Thanks dude. And hell yea, he definitely should. He looks like a wanna be George Washington statesman, or something. I mean, he has this "elder statesman" thing going on, just doesn't mesh well with the stupid shit he says everytime he opens his mouth, so it's like, hmmm where is Jesse's brain today? Yeah, bash govt on spending! Then you go and support Obamacare. Yeah, he really deserves a lot of respect :rolleyes: what a statesman!

The hair just makes him look sloppy, I miss the old bald-and-stache. He seems honest enough to me, at least, but I think he can eventually come around on a lot of things.

I have to agree. Consider the audience and consider playing up to the fancy of CNN Democrats might help anyone who calls themselves a libertarian. Especially when Obama is coming off more as a pure statist and not so much of a progressive anti-war president.
 
in the jesse ventura LKL video Ron Paul mentioned Lysander Spooner... Interesting probably the first time in tv history he was mentioned lol... Ron Paul educated everybody who watched that show that day :) awesome interview!
