Just got back from voting for Paul and Lawson. Feels great! I almost didn't go because I was misinformed about my eligibility as a registered independent. I thought they recently changed the open primary to a closed one. Well I can say that I was allowed to vote but I did have the guy I gave my first paper to to get the ballot make a mistake, and have to fix it. Of all people it's a Ron Paul voter right? As far as I can tell though everything went great except I think the person next to me was going for Clinton. Anyone else vote?

10-4 on the obamacity factor

SW charlotte here and our heavily dem district will probably be obamas

Paul, Orr, Dority, Eric Smith and so forth.....I was thinking of how nice it would have been to be able to vote for BJ--hope he does well..

Yup

Just voted. Machines gave me no problems. No exit polls at my location but I was wondering if anyone else had seen them around, or had problems of any kind.

I voted! +1 for Ron Paul. Put my Ron Paul sign in the front of all the other voting signs. Gotta remind people that Ron Paul is still a presence and his ideal will never die as long as people support it.

I voted.. and think I got about 5 or 6 others to vote for Paul. We'll see. There was NOBODY at my polling place. The poll workers were all just sitting around looking bored. I voted in '06 at this location and it was packed. I'm in a heavily Republican precinct so the Obama factor isn't hitting here.

Yeah, slacker, the word from the poll workers is the the strong gop pcts are dead, we're a strong dem pct and the turn out is light, but it's heavy in other dem pcts. Just to give you an idea, at the last election (I think for bonds, low level positions) we only had 21 people show up to vote, TOTAL. My pct stinks, but I will say that most of MY neighbors have voted, hint, hint, hint!!! No wonder no one wants to exit poll us...

I'll be going back after 3:00 or so and stay til closing---that should be OUR heaviest time.

A friend and I just voted in the 10th district 29th precinct for Dr. Paul. Had to drive around a little bit and passed two other polling stations. One thing that was noticeable was the lack of McCain signage. As in zero. None. I'm wondering if he hasn't pissed off some N.C. Neo-Cons with his remarks. We can only hope.

We were talking about the mccain sigage this morning, out of maybe 5-6 people we've seen 2 mccain signs and one bumper sticker in all of Charlotte. (Ths includes some poll workers we were chatting up)

I am jealous of all of you patriots getting to vote for paul today. I voted on April 22nd it fealt great after that long wait!

I was wondering who is on the ballot in your state? Is it just Paul and McCain? We had Huck on our ballot in PA and i think if he wasn't we could have had 30% of the vote.

Huck and Keyes

LOL, and we had to wait, and wait and wait.......

I voted Ron Paul and local Ron Pauler Jimmy Goodman http://www.jimmygoodman.net

We are in WNC...Hillery Country. I know that Jimmy has a great chance to beat the Rep. incumbent and can really help Franklin NC!

Sure am glad I finally got to Vote for RON PAUL!

Count my vote for the great Dr. Paul... voted about 10:30 am. No line. I am in the Scaleybark area.
I think I got two friends to also vote for Ron Paul!!

I'll be back after voting closes, going to hit the after work crowd. Maybe, just maybe, I'll find a repub and they will still be registered repub and they will take my slim jim......maybe.....

Good job guys! Now all we have to do is challenge the Neveda Convention, the Louisiana delegates, the Missouri challenges, and any other county, district, and state who are breaking the rules and state laws to obstruct our delegates getting to vote.
In November, I will write-in Ron Paul, United States President. Let's hope the campaign makes sure that he is registered in every state that allows write-ins in a timely manner!

I'm also in South Charlotte. We (myself, wife and son [our other son voted absentee]) voted at 11:)) AM, the slowest time.

There was a steady stream, but very light traffic. We went during the slow time so I could put my RP signs at the entrance and across the street at the intersection.

I have to say how sad it made me to vote on a wretched hack machine vs a traceable paper ballot. I asked for a receipt, but there is no paper trail with these putrid touch screen machines.

Last year, our youngest son (20 at the time) fought his own private battle against NC regarding ES&S. I'm proud of his efforts and at least he's on record via many e-mails, letters and calls to NC law makers as being vehemently against electronic voting.

I'm curious to know how many votes ES&S will say RP got ;)

WOO HOO ... just got through to Jeff Katz and was on the air stating I proudly voted for RON PAUL!

I finally got to vote for Ron Paul today! I've been waiting so long for this :p
At my polling place in Concord, I got there about 10:30am, and there was practically no one else there to vote. One lady came in behind me, and that was it.
