If I'm not mistaken FDR was the last president to change his running mate. He had John Garner as his running mate in 1932 and 1936 but was replaced with Henry Wallace in 1940 and then Truman in 1944.

I want to know as well.

Guy from Southern Indiana , holds the #3 spot in the party .

A soc con from indiana. He voted against the big spending bills. He can be an ally on economic issues. He's pretty hawkish though.

You guys will not like him likely . He is not too fond of the Iranians .

He is pretty solid on economic issues .

There was a confrontation of sorts at SRLC with Pence and Paul supporters.

I should be more specific.... what are his policies/views. I know WHO he is in the broadest sense, but no details with which to either agree or disagree with him.

He represents north central Indiana. He's my representative.

Regular Hoosier Christian , fiscal conservative .

The district is shaped funny and catches a big pc. of Eastern Indiana , he is from Columbus and attends church in Greenwood . The district it kind of intertwines with is the seat held by socialist Baron Hill .

He is the most popular national politician in the state .

Of course , the two Senators having dropped a great deal in popularity recently may have something to do with it ( Lugar /Bayh) .

The Freedom Index gives Mike Pence (R-IN) a Constitutional score of 78%, overall a score of 86%.

I am unfamiliar with this . It makes little sense though . Pence and Paul would probably be very agreeable with one another .

them, I tend to hand the number one slot to our current VEEP and the
