#2 or #3.I wouldn't mind it if someone else got into the race to insure Lindsey doesn't get 50%.
South Carolina has a sore loser law so he can't run as an independent like Murkowski did in Alaska.

If we can't come in at least second with 2 or 3 and then win in a runoff,that is on us.
 
I don't really know enough about the challengers, but I love what I'm hearing from Nancy Mace so far, and a lot of folks here like Lee Bright.

I wish I had more of an idea on how those two differ. And this is the first time I've heard of Richard Cash.
 
I loved Lindsey as a joke (I'm in that kind of sarcastic mood) but in all seriousness, I honestly don't know any of the other candidates that well. Nancy Mace looks pretty good on everything she actually has on her website, but I'd need more detail, particularly regarding how she defines "Defense." I honestly know nothing about Lee Bright or Richard Cash.

So: for now "Anyone but Lindsey Graham." The more fiscally conservative and noninterventionist on foreign policy the person is, the better.
 
Meh, none of them appear to be outstanding candidates IMO.

Their websites have some specifics, but it's mostly poetic mumble jumble with no clear plan or details. This makes me a little uncomfortable. :-/
 
Lee Bright endorsed Ron Paul in the primary. I am a bit skeptical of him. He still doesn't seem 100% pro-liberty and probably has a bit of baggage. Mace seems much more articulate and ready to pounce on Lindsey.

Give them a chance. Both just declared within the week. Would you like them both to have numerous legislation drafted and posted on their websites in the past few days too?

Having a proliberty governor, unfortunately, seems overrated. At least in SC. There was a proliberty governor there and SC didn't really gain a lot of freedom, at least compared to states with anti liberty governors. If SC makes a habit of electing proliberty governors, maybe the state will improve.

Davis could do more good as a governor than a US Senator, maybe. Maybe he can get more accomplished than Stanford did.

I mean, I'd take anyone over Graham, but I'd only actually support a candidate who had a foreign policy that is at least as good as Mike Lee's.

They all support pre-emptive war with Upper Volta (sorry AmyPi), bombing Bhutan, and attacking Djibouti.
 
Nancy Mace but am also ABG (anyone but Graham) including democrats.

Don't know enough about them all, but I think Mace supports term limits (2). Not sure if Bright does.
