yeah.. the poll needed a "none of the above" on there. I was ready to sit this election out totally after years of voting for the lesser of two evils.

Nobody! When I heard that the election was coming I thought to myself...Oh my, here we go again, more lies, more fake politicians, more of the same old, same old.

When I realized Ron Paul was running I first couldn't believe it. A man that is against the government running our lives, basically owning us, and an honest politician...Impossible. Well, as we all know now. Ron Paul IS possible!!

Ron Paul or bust! No fakers are going to get my vote no matter what.

.

I spent 20 years voting republican and was so disappointed with the liberalism of the GOP that I was not going to vote or support anyone before I learned of RP.

I supported nobody until Ron got in the race. Worked for him in '88 and haven't had a choice before or after until now. I never "got" Reagan. The great communicator clanked off of my ears just like Clinton and Obama. Supposedly great oratory must pin my bull$hit meter in the red, I guess. And the two Bushes hurt my ears for other obvious reasons.

I was younger for Kennedy and Goldwater, but I do remember the Goldwater race very well. That was the only one who wasn't a complete BS'er. Too bad he changed as he got older and became a total squish. I'm older now and even more hardcore than ever. Makes me wonder why he turned hard left at the end.

aksmith, I know just how you feel regarding the oratory pinging the bullshit meter. I totally feel the same way. Every time people swoon over a great speech, I'm always the one in the room going, oh please, cut the crap. lol

As for the OP, I supported no one until I discovered Dr. Paul.

I'm an ardent pro-lifer so I was immediately drawn to Huckabee ... for about 2 weeks. Then I looked closer at Ron because of his position against the death sentence. His essay on the Second Amendment blew my mind, so I began to eat up his positions. I watched some youtube videos (Zietgiest was a major wake up call for me) and I could never go back.

I have never been so completely excited about any candidate before. I happily voted for Perot (mainly because Bush Sr didn't seem to want it), but since then I've been voting against the Dems. If I can help keep an RP candidate on the ballot for the rest of my life, I will.

Obama and the Ghoul. Then I saw Paul on Bill Maher.

Sad thing is, he's my Congressman. I wish I knew him earlier.

I had registered for MItt Romney''s website but never got involved. I heard about RP about a few months ago. I can not imagine voting for anyone else. For the first time I have a candidate who I agree with EVERYTHING they have to say!

I was apathetic before I started watching a few debates in the fall. Ron had me from hello. He told the truth and didn't bs like the other candidates.

I think it's safe to say that once you go Ron Paul, you're in for the long haul. So, I have hope that many americans will slowly open they're eyes to him.
