Which states are the most heavily armed:

The highest state of ownership, Wyoming is only 20 percent. Disappointing to see gun ownership numbers so low. I expected it to be much higher.

It likely is higher. I'm sure there are plenty of firearms out there that are well under the radar, illegally possessed by felons, etc.

Funny, I was just pondering today after various Texas headlines why there so many guns in Texas.. is it because it is on border with MX / Alamo historic backdrop..

NY shares border with Canada and does not seem to be as heavily gunned.

It is.

Think about it: do you honestly believe, in country that is estimated to have 440 MILLION arms in private hands that in Wyoming, ferchrissakes, the ownership rate is only 20 percent?

That's the true rate of ownership in NJ for crying out loud.

Bullshit statistics are bullshit:

Here is a look at per capita weapons data, based on the ATF's National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record, and 2013 data from the U.S. Census.

While the ATF's National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record is the only accessible list of its kind, it is not all-inclusive. NFA firearms only include the categories regulated by The National Firearms Act of 1934: machine guns, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, suppressors, destructive devices like bombs and grenades, concealable devices with the ability to discharge a shot through the energy of an explosive, and any firearm with a bore over half an inch that has not been determined to have a legitimate sporting use.

No sane person would EVER mark down on a census record that they have guns or how many they have.

And the ATF numbers of regulated/prohibited arms transfers is just nonsense.

I am saying 20 percent of the population of Wyoming. Not 20 percent of the entire country.

Yeah, I'm saying the same thing.

I'd guess a real number for Wyoming would be around 70-75 percent.

That is what I had believed. I suppose when they come for the guns they have to bake the data in advance to say look not many people own guys, it is no biggie for the remaining to turn them in.

I live in NJ and my slingshot was not legally purchased. You think if asked I'm reminding them what I've got buried around town in Pelican cases?

What difference does it make whether you are armed or not if the Deep State Cabal is powerful enough to designate the enemy ?!?!?!?!?!?!

That’s a lot of toys to practice shoot with.

How many square miles does a crop dusting cover?

FFS! Even the ATF admits, privately, that their NFA registry is as much as 50% inaccurate. Of course, in court they ALWAYS testify that it's 100% accurate. Go figure.
