I think Hacking Democracy is pretty accurate, but that's a documentary.

Not overtly political, but I think "The Money Masters" is the best of the financial films/documentaries.

why not golden oldies CITIZEN KANE or THE CANDIDATE?

my private personal choise is THE LAST HURRAH and if i
even contemplate the merits of oliver stone's magnus opuses
i can think of quite a few flics of note, and yes, i once actually
went to MILHOUS and at the time i thought i was being trendy

Accurate:
Why We Fight

Not Accurate:
Michael Moore and Oliver Stone movies (F-911 and JFK for starters)

Haven't seen the rest.

Am I the only one who's REEEEEEAAAAAALLLY looking forward to FROST/NIXON? I can't wait for that movie!

You missed that little documentary... what was the title again... oh yeah now I remember:

"Wag the Dog"

I really like Why We Fight.

Sad. I have watched that before. But from this thread, I started to watch again. I flew with that (now) squadron commander years ago. Great guy, but seeing that video with him being interviewed, I realized that could have been me (if I had stayed in). So brain washed. He thinks he is doing the right thing, not realizing the damage and suffering he is causing. Just doing his job... pass the blame off to the decision makers (politicians).

We all join with the right intentions, then (many of us, at least) realize we are just being used by the money interests.

GABLE's "PARNELL" ... an honorable meantion?

MGM once did a curious casting... in 1937
...and then the film was in the red!!!
