Which is better for us? Romney or Huck winning Iowa?

I'm trying to decide. I almost think that Huck scraping out a win in Iowa is better for us going into New Hampshire.

I think it will be Romney 1st, Huck 2nd, Paul 3rd. I'm hoping McCain is a distant 4th or 5th behind Thompson.

What helps us most? Huck or Mitt? Of course I'd love to see us in 1st place, but I just don't think it's realistic at this point.

Between the two, I think we would be better served to have Huckabee finish first. If Romney finishes first it will be VERY difficult to unseat him in New Hampshire and Michigan. He'll probably be stronger in South Carolina and Florida too.

If Huckabee finishes first he still will lose New Hampshire.

the hackster, he doesnt have real support out of iowa and maybe a few southern states, more importantly he does not have the money...

it does not matter - please focus on what matters, spreading ron's message. :)

I think Romney is. That will hopefully get Huck out of the game after the NH primaries. Putting Rudy, Mitt, and Ron as the only true top candidates for the rest of the show. However some may argue having Mike in there will help dilute the votes between Mitt and Rudy.

I think we'd rather see Huckabee win because Romney is more of a threat to us in NH.

The more we can cut Romney down before NH, the better. His neighbor-state status helps him.

Best thing that could happen would be Ron Paul winning. However if I had to choose an order where Ron Paul was not on top this would be it:

Huck
Paul
Mitt
Thompson
Rudy
McCain

i'd rather face Huckabee than Romney who has unlimited funds

we need to defeat Mitt early

Romney is a way bigger threat in NH. We want Huckabee to win IA...second or third for Dr. Paul is a-okay.

Of course, there's always the chance we could win IA

No way guys, Romney would be far better for us winning.

I've said it months and months ago, Huckabee is our biggest threat.

If Romney wins first, Huck second, Paul 3rd, that would be the best combo (other than Paul at higher place)

If Paul ends up debating Romney 1 on 1, people will see what an idiot he is.

Like the "Lawyer argument".

Huckabee is articulate and funny, he's our biggest threat. Just like in the debate when Ron said "saving face" they both got cheers.

I don't doubt Ron Paul could come in first.

I'm sorry, how can you say that? Do you want to win or do you want to "spread the message".

I want to spread the message as much as the rest of us do, but we've reached a point now where winning is more important and is achievable.

The message is spreading regardless of this campaign from all over, but now we need to concentrate on winning!

Huckster.

Only because deflating Romney is FTW. Huck isn't a credible national candidate. Romney has enough money to run a national campaign.

Huckabee scares the party faithful way more than Romney. Huck winning with Paul finishing strong will get a lot of the Eagle Forum types mobilized on our side. Romney winning won't concern them as much and they'll keep waiting and seeing who they can decide to get behind.

I think we need Romney to win. We need Romney to take up the battle with McCain. McCain is our biggest threat.

We need Huck to take out Romney

Mitt's whole strategy is based on front-loaded wins. Take away the veneer and there's no there there.

Huck is another grassroots campaign (without the strength of our grassroots and willingness to donate). His people (however many or few there are) will vote for him later.

We need to feed the vultures and thin the herd. Fred tonight. Then Mitt perhaps if we can knock him out in IA and NH.
