Which do you think would be best to spread the Ron Paul Revolution message of liberty:

1. Ron Paul is included in the Fox debate with the other candidates.
2. Ron Paul is excluded from the Fox debate.

There are many (like me) who believe that Ron Paul will receive far more attention if he is excluded from the NH debate and the Ron Paul revolutionaries bring it from the streets to spread the message and highlight MSM bias.

What do you think?

We need Ron Paul to be seen right next to Huckabee, Giuliani, and the rest.

We know about him, we need the others who have not heard about him, but will after Iowa and NH to see him as a top tier candidate.

not fighting to get him in the debate in the hopes of people seeing how 'oppressed he is' is stupid, and just plain manipulative. We are above that

What a trip - still 50/50 at this point (16 votes).

I am not saying that we shouldn't hammer Fox for everything we can (we should), but I would love to see the full fury of the Revolution unleashed if he were excluded. It would be awesome.

I doubt it would happen. When Mike Gravel started getting excluded from the debates was when I switched over to be a Paul supporter...
I think being excluded will be more like the death of the ron paul rebellion.

Please remember it is NOT a debate. It is a roundtable forum like MTP, etc. Ron Paul will be at the debate the night before which is sponsored by ABC. Furthermore, if he hits a home run at that debate, FOX will have egg all over their face.

Gravel does not have the support that Dr. Paul has though...

Ron Paul wins the debate because of his MESSAGE not because of his celebrity status. We need his message to be front and center, not that it's a big deal that he was not include. I say he needs to be in.

exactly thats why I switched over. The point is without being in debates, he won't get support.

But the real thing I find frightening about you people voting for it to be better to leave Ron Paul out of the debates. Do you guys realize how MANIPULATIVE that is?

what if FDR just let pearl harbor happen to rally the people against Japan?
what if Bush let 9/11 happen to rally the people against iraq? (yes i know iraq didn't have anything to do with 9/11 you get the point)

of course I don't really believe in these conspiracy theories but this is how they get started. IF the media gets hold of us letting Paul be excluded because we want a rally call afterwards we are finished.

WE SHOULD BE OUTRAGED THAT RUPORT MURDOCH THINKS HE CAN DO THIS. WE SHOULD BE OUTRAGED TO THE POINT THAT we calm down and do the best thing we can do to get Paul elected.

Murdoch has made a huge blunder and has given us what maybe the most precious gift we get.

Please spread this idea: Please, I beg you:

a. let paul be excluded, but plan and organize the biggest goddamn peaceful protest we can imagine.
b. protest not just for Paul but in the name of "our freedom and democracy" ( the Bush administration as well as fox have been talking about "spreading freedom and democracy" for so long that people are practically attuned to this phrase.)
- in all seriousness we SHOULD be outraged that a corporation is so flagrantly trying to influence an election like this. This is about liberty, and it will be very clear as Paul is excluded and has a giant mass of protestors behind him.
b. organize like hell till the day of the rally but do it as secretly as possible... why ?
c. AS SOON as the day of the rally begins we begin to alert rival media. NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN.
AT LEAST ONE IF NOT TWO WILL BITE. IF JUST ONE OR TWO BITES AND WE ARE ABLE TO AMASS HUGE NUMBERS WE WILL GET A COMPLETE DAY OF COMPLETELY FAVORABLE MAJOR MEDIA ATTENTION. The other stations WOULD LOVE to put down a rival station. MURDOCH WON'T KNOW WHAT HIT HIM.
d. again, Rupert Murdoch is not a dumb man, if we start spamming finance sites and his stock starts going down, he might change his mind and simply gag Paul at the debate.

THEN WHO WINS ?

sneak attack the day of foxes quant debate ?

The revolution begins.

LET's TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS ASSHOLE, FOX and other media HAS FUCKED WITH OUR COUNTRY AND OUR LIVES ENOUGH!

This may be the best thing that could have happened for us in New Hampshire.

We already know that corporate media is going to ignore us as long as they can.

If he does get on the Forum, we know he will get 3 or 4 questions, probably about his donors or a 3rd party run for president.

Few or no Ron Paul supporters will be allowed in the audience, so even when Ron Paul hits a home run, he's going to get booed by the corporate supporters.

Ron Paul will probably get less than 5 minutes of air time.

However,

If we can organize a huge rally during the "forum", and I'm talking HUGE. The local media may start to pay attention.

The 6th is a Sunday, plenty of people will have off. Thousands of out of state supporters will already be in the area helping the campaign. We need to organize the biggest Ron Paul rally to date.

Every member of the press there to cover the forum will have to walk through our rally to get into and out of the forum. Some will have to take notice.

The campaign has said that they are planning a rally during the forum.

Is it possible that we could steer the forum story away from what the candidates had to say and towards the fact that Ron Paul was excluded? At worst, we should be able to at least get a few lines in every article that Ron Paul was not invited yet thousands of his supporters showed up for the rally.

It's New Hampshire..."Live Free or Die!!" I don't think voters in that state will take this type of corruption lying down.

This could be the bump that we need to win the state.

:D AGREED!

Whichever one exposes him to the most voters. IFF we can generate the level of national coverage by our rally that we are losing by having face time on Fox news, we win.

If not, we lose.

Simple as that.

1) Exclusion + 3000 person protest
2) Inclusion + small rally
3) Inclusion no rally
4) Exclusion no rally

That's my order of preference

I don't think anyone is saying "let him be excluded and do nothing" but rather hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Thousands of calls have already been made. Thousands of Emails have already been sent. No one's letting Fox off the hook. The more outrage we show, the bigger the story gets. Hell, goggle "Fox Forum Jan 6th," it's all Ron Paul links.

At this point if we plan the rally, what's the worst that could happen? Fox let's Ron Paul in the Forum and thousands still show up to show their support.

If FOX wants to exclude our candidate, then so be it. They are a private entity and have every right in the world to do so. I think we can put pressure on them, boycott, and protest peacefully if we want, but in the end, the free market of ideas will decide, and most of us know that MSM dinosaurs like FOX will be left in the dust. Would it be nice if RP was invited? Sure it would. I feel VERY strongly however, that Rupert Murdoch and FOX do have property rights in their media outlet. Let them make bad decisions if they want to, that's what our ENTIRE movement is about, people. If we really have energy to waste on this issue, we should be spending it commenting on blogs, emailing network execs, and posting on forums that we don't like their decision, but will defend to the nth degree their right to run their own business. THAT would be something worth raising our voices about. Call me crazy, but I thought we were libertarians here.
