If I can interject, given that there are 50 states + some territories, each with different delegate policies and procedures, it is very likely that both websites have some level of erroneous information.

For the record, I never said RonPaulforums didn't have the right information.

This is about Ron Paul becoming president in 2008.

Anson's site has good information on how to get started as a delegate...nothign more.

Anson hasn't even posted in the forums once!

EXACTLY! That's why it's important to do the research yourself.

It's incumbent on everyone to read the information and do the research yourself.

So MsDooDah, do you enjoy censoring me just because I asked questions? Now I know what Ron Paul feels like!

Edited. No, I do not enjoy it.

That's fine!

There are 3 options to choose from in order to get information on how to become a delegate to your GOP conventions.

He's not going to have all 50 states correct!

That's why he tells you to call your RP state coordinator! Also, to get with your meetup! the site is about how to get started NOT the entire process for each state!

I like step by steps, I think they have the best chances of getting the most people to become delegates.

I appreciate Anson's attempt, but little on his website applies to Louisiana. Actually, much of it would be detrimental to Ron Paul in Louisiana if people followed it.

If anyone wants to know about becoming a delegate in Louisiana, please PM me.

Maybe for each state we can post simple, accurate, step by steps. That way each person doesn't have to sort through all this junk to figure out what to do.

For example Texas:

1) Register to vote

2) On primary day, vote. Texas is an open election - by voting you register which party you are.

3) Before you vote, ask the precinct poll volunteer where the precinct caucus will be. Most likely it will be later that day in that same location.

4) Bring your stub which shows you voted Republican to the precinct caucus. This is where we decide who becomes a delegate.

There are no GOP Conventions in most states. It does NOT, as Anson's site says, start at the precinct level in DC nor in most states. This post has been edited

I just breifly went over Anson's site and I find nothing wrong with it myself. For information specific to my state (the state of Arkansas) that site links directly to my state GOP information.

What is the problem with this site that I am missing?
