Which makes absolutely no sense at all because in S&P's letter spelling out why the U.S. was downgraded, they outline that the cuts were not big enough and there were no tax increases along with no guarantee of future cuts or that the cuts agreed upon will even take place. Had the "cuts" been at least $4 trillion, there wouldn't have been an issue.
