I know a friend who's doing a social experiment with an MMORPG game. He has a voice syntheisizer that makes his voice sound feminine and documents what "benefits" there are to being a female player in a guild in an MMORPG. So far I heard it's going quite well .

That's crazy. When I play a game I play to win, and that includes beating the female players too. I doubt anyone there is hooking up over a game, so these guys are just wasting their time doing favors for female players.

But in my experiences too, there are lots of people who actually do pose as a woman in order to try to get the benefits - so much so you can usually tell.

btw,, My Guild Master is a woman,, with 4 kids, and she Home schools. (2 that play)
