Mike Huckabee's on two channels simultaneously; I'm not holding my breath that Ron's on TV anywhere.....

The campaign doesn't play by the same rules of the game that a traditional campaign and the the mainstream media have always agree upon. Our team doesn't have embedded reporters ready to telecast every soundbite and spin. Would we be doing better if we were? Not sure. I was glad to see ABC's Sunday roundtable show had RP on all its graphics including the CPAC straw poll. NBC and Fox could learn a thing or two from them. I'm not sure that 100% of the time the exclusion is intentional or malicious but it does hurt the campaign deeply as the casual voter either doesn't know he is running or thinks he's dropped out. It's interesting that the 'conservative' pundits that scream liberal bias charges against the media don't take up RPs plight here but they're probably more scared of him than they are of the 'liberals'.

It was very nice they showed RON PAUL's results... AFTER HE's NO LONGER a THREAT (AFTER)

Mike Huckabee had the right strategies... Spend all your monies on NATIONALLY televised stations and the stations SERIOUS voters watch, and pay for the PRESS and CORRESPONDENTS costs and services.

Worked great! Ron Paul Campaign... What Strategies? In the means of these "STEALTH STRATEGIES" let's PISS OFF THE PRESS to the POINT that 99% of them will BLACKOUT the CAMPAIGN.

That's one of many problems with Campaign Management and Staff... that usually comes from being quite Amateurish.

Pandering is not what a statesman does. THats for the political elite. The reason we follow Paul is the honest approach to politics. He gets beat by the mainstream lushes and some want him to lower his standards. If he did this he would be just another pandering lush, say Romney, Guiliani, McCain, Huckabee........
Its not about Ron Paul, its about Thomas Jefferson !

It's not pandering to present your message in a way that's palatable to the press and to voters. That's called smart politics.

Funny you should mention that......

YouTube vid

At 1:55, Rick Santorum starts talking about Time magazine's bias, and repeats the charge/claim at around 2:26.

Then at ~ 2:38, Hannity asks Juan Williams if the media [overall] is biased. Fucking priceless.

I hate that douchebag.

It's these kind of statements that leave me scratching my head.

Thomas Jefferson is long dead and not running for president. Ron Paul on the other hand is on the ballot, but is not running for president either.

I for one wanted to see him run for president.

Sean is not the "great American" he claims to be.

In my opinion, anyone that needs to constantly call each other "great Americans" are equivalent to guys who brag about having huge sex organs. In reality, they probably don't, but by telling everyone they do, it becomes true in their own minds.

Case in point:

Lately Sean has been complaining about the media bias and stating that he "doesn't tell anyone who to vote for." What he fails to realize though, is that by excluding candidates in his discussion is just as malicious as telling someone who to vote for.

Sure, he'll say it's because of the polls. But he also fails to acknowledge that Ron has been excluded in the media almost completely from day one. You will never get high in the polls without media coverage because of the lackadaisical attitude towards politics of the average American voter.

Sad, but true.

So, Sean sits in front of his microphone wielding GREAT power of voice and influence over people, claiming he is a "great American," bitching about the candidates and completely excluding and marginalizing a candidate that he himself has stated "has some great ideas."

He talks about essentially "making compromise and coming together to vote for a candidate who you may not agree with 100%," yet he excludes and marginalizes a candidate that embodies the very ideas he wishes for without much compromising at all.

And Sean's not alone. Nearly every headlining conservative host is guilty of this and they can't seem to wrap their heads around the fact that they are part of the reason for the GOP's struggle to coalesce and the rise of McCain.

Sorry for turning this into a rant against Sean... I just had to get that out I guess :)

I'm thinking you were talking to me because I posted the Hannity video.....

I hate Sean Hannity. I posted it as more of an "Oh, the irony!" observation than anything else.

I couldn't agree more.....

No problem. I sit here in Texas, commiserating with you.

Did Dr. Paul have a Press Plane like Huck???

Huck had a BUS. Paul had a plane.

The bus's purpose was for the press, which he skillfully used with 1/3 of the money we had. Paul kept the plane to himself and staff. Bad move.

Maybe that's why we hardly got any press and Huck got more.

Ed Rollins mastered Huck's campaign with very little funding.

The PCC is far from shining examples of competance, but if you people think the press black out is their fault, you really haven't been paying attention. Huck's success is because the MSM surged him, not the other way around.

Ron's at home today working on the CD race and the Presidential race in that part of Texas, like he said he would be.
