Where do I get a Voter ID Card???

Where do i get a voter ID Card? How do I check what I am registered as? I cant find anything online except for things to print out and mail in, is there any other way to get this done?

I live in Broward and the County elections offical has offices where you can go in. In Broward it's called "Broward county supervisor of elections". Phone book should also have that info. May be called something different depending on what county you live in. But its a County government office

Same problem here... I sent in my party change information in early December. After the holidays I called the office in Deland to find out why I had't recieved my new card (the other 2 members in my household who sent in their changes at the same time got theirs weeks ago.)

The person I spoke with was able to pull up my information by name and address, and she confirmed that the change had been made but the card hadn't been printed and sent yet.

I figure I'll wait another week for the mail, then make the drive to the office in person if I have to.

I sent in my voter registration before december 31st (not much before, a week or two) but still havent gotten my card, If i do not get the card in time, is it necessary to have it before the primary or can they look it up? Also, I plan on using an absentee ballot because im in college away from my home county, how does this work and where can I get one?

Florida does not require that you have your card to vote. They look you up in your precinct list with a picture ID.

Bump! You need to have either Driver's License or Military ID, or Sam's Card...any picture ID. If you are on the Republican rolls, they'll find you

I am in college away from the county I registered with, is this a problem or can I vote in the county I am at? if I can't I need to get an absentee ballot sent to me.. and then sent back out ASAP or I may miss the election, I'm sure im not the only one out there with this problem..

If you can't find your counties REC web-site to get info from, YES just get an absentee Ballot and vote.

FYI for anyone new to this thread, the deadline to register republican in Florida is over.

All we can do now in this state is work to convert as many Registered Republicans as possible!!!!!!!

The biggest selling points in Florida for RP are-

He warned about the housing bubble and crash that screwed a lot of people over. He would prevent that from ahppening again in the future.

He gets an A+ on protecting Gun rights and Property rights.

He wants to take away the Income tax and replace it with nothing, forcing washington to go back to it's 2000 budget, saving on a new and improved Foriegn Policy. We are taxxed to the hilt in Florida.

He's Big on homeschoolers rights and wants to cut out the Department of Education, which is doing a costly and horrible job regulating the public school system in this state.

He wants to take away incentives for illegals and tighten border security. Illegals create a large portion of the crime in Florida.

I read this and saw my finacee started this post and I was like hey he could of asked me! LOL!
Anyways I told him ya you don't need the card anymore they look you up at the voting place.
To check your stuff you call your supervisor of elections or go to their website by typing
"your city" supervisor of elections in google and I am sure it will come up.

I registered in Early December and recieved my voter ID card a couple days ago. You can call them though and check if they recieved it, thats what i did about two weeks after i sent it in. They confirmed my registration and party affiliation. Hope this helps.
