When will Romney & Huck drop out?

It seems to me that since Romney's daddy cut off his spending, if he does poorly on Super Tuesday, I believe he's smart enough to get out of the race.

I don't think Huckleberry can stay past super tuesday if he doesn't get at least two states, maybe three. I think he leaves 3 days after super tuesday, and Romney bows out wednesday. Though Romney may stay a little longer to raise enough money to off set some of his debts. That's a business decision, but he never did have great outside support.

I see a two man race after Febuary 10th, with Ron Paul struggling until then. That's when his message will get to America, and McCain's supporters (90% of whom don't know anything about Ron paul) will finally begin to listen to their more conservative brethren, and switch to Paul.

Your views?

agreed with it more or less.

With it now being mccain/guiliani from the looks of things that is a pretty damn solid "republican party" platform that MANY are getting behind. They see how much money these two jackasses can make off of us "regular people".

The huck doesn't have a platform now that romney is doing everything he can to proclaim the 2 man race deal and of course now that the msm have taken his free air time privileges away.

They cant touch ron paul even if they wanted to because WE fund him and no one else. They cant pull the plug on him because they dont give him air time anyways. They keep trying to discredit him and no one is believing it.

So it will be

Ron Paul vs. Mccain/Guiliani

unless huck and romney do some very serious "platform shifting" together to try and combat the mccain/guiliani duo BUT then I would assume that the huck supporters would then see that he is only trying to get into office and not for specific reasons like his views on specific issues.

Who knows how it will swing and I still love it that people really believe mccain is winning this thing. Us Americans can be told ANYTHING and we gobble it up lol pitiful really.

I agree. McCain is the biggest threat and I dread the thought of 4 MORE years of "Bush".. but if/when it comes down to just him and Dr. No I'm going to put all my blood sweat and tears into making sure Dr. No comes out on top.

the only good thing that would come out of a mccain presidency is this

I doubt our economy can go on how it is for another 4 years especially once that jackass starts spending on the military and other "projects" of his.

I think we will have a complete collapse by then and at that time we will take the country back whether they want us to or not.

You cant fix spending with MORE spending no matter how JUST you THINK it is people.

Well alot of it comes down to money, and McCain simply does not have it at this time. Having a Guiliani endorsement doesnt help him. If Guiliani can't raise money for himself, how can his endorsement help raise money for McCain?

Big thing is RP needs money. Whatever it takes we need to keep the $$$ coming in. As of this post there are 214 first time donors today. THIS is what we need to keep up. The influx of new blood and new donors is where it is at. I'm really hoping we can come damn close to the $4 million we need to give RP what he has asked for. We are at this time, 5 1/2 hours into the money bomb and have raised $135k. We are no where near on track to raise what he has asked for by Feb 5th. :(

The puppet masters will give McCain all the free publicity he needs. John McCain plays ball with the Military Industrial Pharmaceutical Mass Media Complex he will have the funds to continue for sure. McCain was taught a lesson back in 2000 that he needs to play ball or lose the election. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? He is one well trained pooch. That is the only way to explain his ridiculous positions on illegal immigration and the Iraq war. As if someone could logically be totally unconcerned with large numbers of illegal immigrants and open borders and also be scared shitless by terrorism enough to support preemptive war.

I wouldn't worry about McCain winning the general election!!
That is just not going to happen!!
Democrats win by a landslide!!

Campaigning against McCain/Giuliani is good practice for running against the Democrats

Look, when Romney drops out he is most likely going to give an endorsement to McCain because, especially with GOP pressures. Huckabee has already hinted at giving McCain a nod if he bows out, and I've even heard that Huck is being groomed for a VP spot (although I don't believe it fully).

If anyone thinks that when Romney and Huck drop out, that magically the MSM will give any serious attention to Paul you are really not thinking this through. If/when they drop out, it will be a serious love fest for McCain and basically a complete victory for McCain in the media's eyes.

I think it all boils down to Super Tuesday. If the MSM/CFR gang can manage to cram McCain down our throats and prevent a brokered convention, it's over. Time to stock up on guns and ammo and head for the hills. I'm visiting the range and pawn shops today just in case.

If nobody has a decisive victory after Super Tuesday, either Hick or Mittens will drop out. The one to stay will be the one that did best on Super Tuesday. Debates, IF they are still held, will be just like the last one, with Dr. Paul getting a minimum of time.

After Tuesday, IF there's still a race, it will be time to RAMP UP the rEVOLution. We need MASSIVE demonstrations of strength outside EVERY debate, and if the good doctor is not given time to speak, it will be time for some of us to step forward and DEMAND his message be heard. The time to risk OUR lives and sacred honor is fast approaching.

If indeed Huck and Mitt drop out and leave it to a two man race I see voter apathy as our friend. If it gets down to just Ron and Mc Insane everyone will decide it is wrapped up and the voter turnout will drop in the remaining states. Hopefully, we can keep our troops energized and turn out our vote in droves and win some states. At the very least McCain will see the threat and have to push hard to keep the apathetics voting and in doing so he'll have to admit it is still a two man race and that Ron is really a factor. This will cause MSM to face the fact that Ron is not invisible and people may see that there is a choice to be made. I still hope McCain blows his temper before then and sinks his own boat. Either that or he has some big scandal break. Hey, you can always hope.

MY FRIENDS!

McCrap McWar wont be president, he has no where near the money Obama is getting, America wont put that idiot in office. Personally i dont trust any of them. McWar is not Bush, i would rather live 4 more years with anyone else then that McManiac! I cant stand that warmonger!

That right there is the problem today. Most people just aren't willing to do what is necessary against a growing evil until it's too late. A real revolution seems to be what is needed, but people are against violence, standing up for their rights and taking action. It's kinda sad in a way that this is what our North American society has become. It is definitely not like this everywhere. There are places all over Europe where mass protests are held in the tens and hundreds of thousands. If it got so bad and out of hand, those groups would be in a position to wage a true revolution and scare the crap out of the government.

i doubt he will be invited to the next debate whenever it is

I think some don't understand the gravity of the situation.

If McCain does as well as predicted on Super Tuesday (ie. where it looks like he stands a good chance of winning enough delegates to avoid a brokered convention), AND the second place guy (likely Romney) bows out, his staff will never agree to another Republican debate... ever.

Unless there is a realistic challenge to his lead (which there likely won't be if he and Romney take most of the delegates on the 5th) it would be stupid to, becuase he would have nothing to gain and everything to loose. He won't agree to one, and the GOP likely will support that position.

This is why our ability to swing votes for a convincing win on Super Tuesday was so important. Placing 3rd or second, or even winning 2-3 caucuses outright will do little to challenge a high double digit lead by McCain.

He will be declared the "projected nominee" (just like they declare "projected winners" before all the real votes are counted in the actual election) and it's game over. The whole focus of his campaign will become- ignore the longshot republican field and concentrate an early attack on the Dems.

I think romney might actually do well on feb. 5th for people who were watching the last debate. If I was supporting mccain before that debate I would seriously consider voting for someone else just to wipe that smug look off his face.

Did anyone see that congressman, NEOCON HASTERT spinning in a public announcement Today, that McCain may be TOO LIBERAL and moderate for Republicans?

This is a prefect preplanned Media SPIN by the GOP for McCain to grab the INDEPENDENT and RIGHT LEANING DEMS.

What MORONS in the GOP CLub... This is the stuff that people and most MSM media don't catch. Well some of the media know, they push the news for their CORPORATE alliances with the GOP.

This is a prefect example, where American ignorance needs to overcome the PROPAGANDA of GOVERNMENT and their CONSPIRING BED FELLOW MEDIA MSM.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid it may actually come to fighting in the streets, and the blinded masses will be forced to choose, our side or the media's. What really gets to me, is that America knows she's being lied to, but eats it up like gravy. Where are the free thinkers, other than on these boards?
