In another thread, it was determined that if you were 10, you would be too young to engage in a contract, even you had early puberty, as was discussed in yet another thread. In reality, if you are 10, go to your room, you are on restriction!

We may be over-thinking the media/government/Police/society aspect of it... Your points are true (obviously). Although many people find people of a seasoned age attractive. Especially seasoned age in a great condition.

You bring up something that actually raises another issue: people sometimes stick with what they know, or lock in on a preference. Some people fixate on their "first". They don't grow from there. They are inflexible. They don't truly enjoy an experience with anything else. Which may be one of the reasons for this woman wanting these younger guys. Maybe she fixated on guys of a certain age at the time (when she was young), and hasn't gone beyond that. Without that fixation, she could just be just another woman having an affair with someone between the ages of 18 and 60.

I think this is an extremely well thought out and as rational of an explanation for the older/younger thing as anyone could expect as a means of "understanding" the "mentality" behind someone older being attracted to someone significantly "underage".

I have to agree, its one thing to see one of your kid's friends and think to yourself, "he sure is a cutie" and quite another altogether to think, "he's friggin hot, I wanna do him"! Admiring good looks versus desiring sexual relations with everyone you think looks good. Does that make any sense?

Female and no, my gender does not matter. The age 10 thing was a joke. Beiber doesn't look much older than that in my opinion.

Regarding contract, neither me, nor the Beib are American. We share the same citizenship and in our own country, I'm unsure of what the legal rerpercussions for that would be. Legal age of consent here is 14.

And it doesn't only apply to age. People will fixate on many different things: "I only date people with X (hair color, eye color, height, weight, race, ethnicity, other physical or mental characteristic, financial status, celebrity status, and of course, age.)".

There is a high probability that the "boys" from this story will have a thing for older women from now on...
