When are we going to raise hell about Romney evading taxes?

"We" are not going to raise hell about anyone evading taxes. There should be no taxes and no IRS.

The American Revolution sparked because of taxes.

Romney just practiced civil disobedience, hit him on something else-the list is long

The OP is right...Mitt should be getting more flack over this. It's one thing to avoid a unfair law...it's another to avoid an unfair tax, when you are quite wealthy and others will have to shoulder the difference.

The evader isn't making the others shoulder the difference. It's the IRS. With your logic you could accuse me of making my neighbors suffer if I don't let a criminal steal from me.

No I am an owner of a very successful business and I create a hell of a lot of jobs. And I have spent YEARS with the IRS crawling up my rear for literally nothing. I could never get that privilege the mitt gets.

Not a troll, but just you wait...when Mitt or Obama get in office, just you wait. If the IRS is not restructured in an orderly manner, they will come after you with a vengeance.

And Romney didn't violate the law. He just played the loopholes in the tax code like the proverbial golden fiddle. He didn't technically have a job this past year, therefore he had no taxable income. Rather most of his money came from investments and interest. The taxes on these are quite a bit lower than the income tax, so he paid quite a bit less taxes than he would have had he had a taxable income.

Your language reveals your identity as a troll. All that "privilege" crap is an issue of the hysterical far left. You're probably a college-brainwashed leftist.

No reason to be a douche. Remember you can educate better by respecting someone than by pouring vinegar down their throat.

tax evasion should be a civil matter as in Switzerland; and Ron should promise to use his pardon power regarding anyone convicted or accused.

Romney endorses the expansion of the war state and I'm pretty sure he doesn't believe that taxation is theft like Paul, so how is he (and others like him) going to fund corporatist ventures without paying taxes? I have to side with the OP here. It would be different if Romney wanted to abolish the IRS and the 16th amendment but instead he proposes the deficit financed status-quo. He'd be more than happy to have the little guy share most of this burden.

During a debate, when Ron is talking about pardoning non-violent drug offenders, he could add that he'd pardon Mittens if he gets jailed for tax evasion. Free Irwin! Free Mittens! :D
