When all else fails, blame the Paulbots

A further problem is that now too much time has passed since the convention. The stink of failure is on Romney's campaign. Even if he began serious deal making at this point, it would just come across as more flip flopping desperatism. Paul strategists are not going to be interested in going down with the ship, because even splitting power 50/50 is 50% of nothing.
Yup, far too late now. He'd have to do a complete 180.

The article stated that we have been called Paulbots and Paultards. Both true. On another forum a poster has taken to calling us Branch Paulinians.

And now they need us. Make no mistake; they don't want us, they need us.

"They" can go pound sand.

^^THIS^^

If this talking point is going to be repeated by the drones in these republican circles, we're gonna have a field day setting them straight.

Going to have? They're suffering from buyers' remorse right now. So, the time to drive the lesson home is right now!

Guess I meant if someone tried me at one of our local party meetings or county conventions. And, I'd have no problem dropping a truth bomb on someone if they started ranting their Fox talk.

What makes me laugh is the way they insult us while simultaneously try to bully us into voting for Romney. Nobody ever says,"I'm sorry the party screwed you guys. But Romney would be better because....."

No, they clamor endlessly about "Paultards" being too stupid to know that Romney would be better than Obama.

It's the worst form of GOTV I've ever seen. :)

Well I don't know about you but all I've got to do is talk to anybody under 30 and they'll tell me how stupid and outdated I am..

One of many money-quotes:

One wonders: If Romney is the ideal moderate candidate who can attract hordes of independents to the GOP, why does he need the fringe Paulian/libertarian vote in order to win the presidency?

Exactly.

We tried to warn them: get behind Ron Paul (at minimum stop sabotaging him) or youre going to lose in November.

But they didnt listen.

So.. they want our votes but dont want us to be part of the Party...

You got it all wrong. They want us to be part of the party. They just want us to be mindless and agree with and vote for whomever gets nominated. That could be a patch of grass, a freshly painted wall, a whole bunch of road apples, or similar to the last suggestion...Mitt Romney.

So.. they want our votes but dont want us to be part of the Party... heh. Maybe if Romney gave Ron free reign to do what Ron wants as Secretary of Treasury or Chair of Fed.
No no no and since I can't seem to copy Tracy Morgan's gif, no.
I don't want no crums off Mitt's table.
Ron Paul or Gary Johnson. Take a pick, Mitt.
Cause I'm sure as hell ain't voting for you.

If Romney really wanted our vote he'd drop the Bush rejects from his campaign and future appointment list.

"Foreign Policy magazine reports that 17 of Romney’s 24 special advisers on foreign policy were in George W. Bush’s administration."

That's the sort of stuff that drives independent voters away. Bush wasn't that long ago. Voters memories are short but they're not that short. The economy was in a big bubble so the economy wasn't an issue but wars were. Now theres a crap economy and war advisors? No thanks. I won't vote for either Romney, Obama, or Bush. All the same.

Foreign Policy is a CFR periodical so if they're reporting that info then they're trying to tout it.

we've dominated the comments section. I don't know how likely it is that the blog post gets attention, but I guess it is the Washington Times.
