Unfortunately, she has now been (publicly) identified.
There's still no word yet on what she was on about, though - and I hope it stays that way.
As with good horror movies, sometimes, the mystery should remain a mystery, and explanations are almost always disappointing.

New details have emerged regarding a frantic woman at the center of an incident on an American Airlines flight who claimed she saw an apparition or “someone who…wasn’t real.”
The woman has been identified as Tiffany Gomas, a marketing executive from Texas.
Witnesses reported that Gomas entered into a dispute with relatives she was traveling with, alleging that they had taken her wireless headphones.
The disagreement escalated, leading to her expressing reservations about the safety of the aircraft. A particularly striking aspect of her outburst was the claim that “someone in the back of the plane wasn’t real.”
The woman’s in-flight meltdown, caught in a video, was on track to go viral. TikTok moderators removed the video, but not before it garnered thousands of views and comments.
The New York Post
reported that Tiffany Gomas is a Dallas resident. She was removed from the plan following a “bizarre outburst which led to hours of delays for other passengers.”
Despite her determined attempts to re-enter the secure zone multiple times, Gomas was detained but not arrested.
Given the dramatic nature of the event, which was captured in viral videos, some may expect legal repercussions. However, legal specialists have expressed doubts regarding any substantial prosecution in this regard.
