What's the price of gas in your area?

2.19.
louisiana is usually cheaper than most places... our price drop has been laggin other areas now..

isnt almost ALL gas 10% ethanol??? i cant remember how long its been since NOT seeing this.

It is in Missouri, since our governor mandated 10% ethanol dilution of all gasoline in state. (To help his brother who owns an ethanol plant, no doubt.) No worries, though, we're paying for our cheaper gas through our food prices now.

Nationwide? I don't know. I know the federal government has given numerous subsidies to ethanol producing companies, but I didn't think they had put forth any sort of mandate that it must be added.

I guess we can dismiss the populist nonsense about price-gouging then. Big Oil came through for us :)

Filled up today - Lake Jackson, Texas in Brazoria County, south of Houston - $1.67.

You bastard.

Reno Nevada - $2.39 for the cheap 87 crap, which is what I buy. (12 Nov 08)

Elko - same price but they sell gas in the 85, 87, and 89 and exluding 91 for their flavors...

On vacation in Villa Rica, GA gas is about $1.95 to $2.00/gallon. Back where I'm from in East TN (at least anywhere near the tourist area) it is running at least $2.09/gallon.

come over the border, our gas in AR has NO ethanol :D

1.84 and still dropping.

The oil cartel really knows how to turn it off and on when they want to.

Screw you people with your buck and some change gas. They still don't want to bring it under $2 here. $2.09 was cheapest I saw today.
