What is the best time to donate?

Any time of the day is the best time to donate. If you donate $25 at 6 A.M. than it is still worth $25 at 6 p.m. so it does not matter. One piece of advice I may have for you is if you plan to donate of the 16th I would do it early. I plan on donating a little after midnight because I fear that if this is as big as we all hope it is that the server may start having some issues at peak times

Whatever you do, don't hold back! Donate everything you can at once. I don't see the point in donating little bits at one hour and then at another hour. Would that not hurt the server?

Anytime is good, just make sure that it's December 16th is EST time. (9pm on the west coast is midnight on the east, etc)

Every penny counts. Even if people don't have much to donate, it's still helpful.

Earlier is better, because it will create more momentum.

The best time window to donate in (if you can stay up late) is between 2 AM and 8 AM Eastern time. If you look at RonPaulGraphs.com, there is usually a lull during those hours.

I expect a huge spike right after midnight Eastern time the day before, as people are chomping at the bit, and it's still fairly early on the West Coast.

All of the Sunday Morning TV Talk Shows will be watching and will certainly discuss it in their political roundtable's if the numbers are off the chart!!! That will fuel interest and might cause brand new Ron Paul supporters to go on-line and give.

Give as much as you can as early as you can and then sit back and enjoy the ride. That is the single best way to get the momentum going. I'm giving $1150 shortly after midnight eastern time... i'll be maxed out then

Couldn't agree more. On November 5th, I donated in the afternoon, but for the 16th, I'll be donating just after midnight.

If we can cause a media stir right away on the 16th, that will only help to get even more donations later in the day. It also might get more people to want to donate, or to donate more if they see it's such a success so early on in the day.

I agree that early donations will build momentum, but I doubt the Sunday morning talk shows will report on it. I don't regularly watch them, but if I recall correctly, they're not even live. Is that right? In any case, they're fairly rehearsed and probably not flexible enough to cover it, unless they plan for it.

This is the one thing I worry about with regard to December 16th (just a little). It being a Sunday, we might have a more difficult time spreading it around. Blogs aren't as active, and people probably aren't at their computers as much. Sunday TV programming is kind of lame, so fewer people are watching. It just means we have to work harder over the next two weeks promoting it.

The earlier the better. I encourage those on both coasts to stay up late Saturday and donate. If we can have a million or two in before the morning talk shows, rather than 600K like last time, it will generate even more buzz.

That and cost more in processing fees.
