...is a whole lot more Carol Paul.

Sorry, Mrs. Paul. Don't blame you for wanting to stay out of the fishbowl. But we really need you.

I totally agree. Summer cookbook maybe? With subsequent promotional tour?

Carol is a sweet lady and would be a HUGE help with the female vote. Remember how much Al Gore's poll numbers skyrocketed after he kissed Tipper on national TV?

Eh, at some point yes. Wouldn't really do much now but make us happy.

Though from the videos I've seen of her I certainly wouldnt mind seeing an interview or two with her. She's a funny, feisty, sweet old lady. :)

I just can't imagine a better way to get Huckabee fans than to contrast our man sharply from Gingrich. And I can't imagine a better way for that to happen than for this woman to step into the spotlight.

And I say the sooner the better. Maybe it's just the Oklahoman in me, I don't know. But I feel like the sooner the better.

They would love Mrs. Paul in Iowa.

She does not have to work all the primaries, but she would really hit it off with Iowa seniors.

Very punny. Ha

Perhaps as a guest on one of the more popular cooking shows?

Agreed

I was just thinking this a few weeks ago. Like most people here, I like Ron for his views and his honesty, but he is also a really personable guy. His wife asked HIM out when he was a "shy" 16 year old, and they have been together ever since. I think Carol Paul makes Ron look like a stand up guy, and I never go for the mooshy political stuff.

Well, I believe she could hold her own outside of the kitchen, too. But maybe a little political sanity would slide under the audience's defenses if she's pulling Toll House cookies out of the oven. So, why not?

It'll certainly show that our man stands by more than his principles through thick and thin.

Last time his campaign was about are libertarian ideas kooky? Now that all his predictions from four years ago have come true, this year it seems to be about, is Ron Paul human?

Carol knows he's human.
