If i had been Rand Paul, I would have jumped on the Trump train. Stress what you agree on with Trump. RNC corruption for example. Media bias. His father was a victim of the MSN. Stress that under his principles, he disagrees with Trump on torture, explain why. Praise Trump. Praise his fighting skills. Praise that Trump is the first non establishment candidate since Reagan to get the nomination. Praise the feat.

Instead Rand shot himself in the foot. Rand should have retreated when El Rato stole all his votes by stealing his constituency.

Lol - in a couple of years, those who "jumped on the Trump train" will be trying to backpedal as fast as they can. Rand did the absolute perfect thing by saying, "I've always said I'd support the nominee" and never mentioning Trump by name.

You will have prescient warnings by Rand and you will have kept promises by Rand, but you will not have any sound bites with Rand extolling the virtues of Donald Trump.

Yes, Rand shot himself in the foot so he would have to board the runaway train called the Trump campaign. His wound would heal but he would have also missed the fiery death that would have befallen any idiot who jumped on the train. Good move Rand.

Not sure we needed a new thread for you to tell us that.

Rand will be fine. He'll win his re-election easily. Beyond that we really have no reason to believe he'll stay in politics much longer.

Rand would do well to stop thinking that Zionists will one day support him. Every time I see him on TV, he expresses concern for the effects of ME destabilization Israel, the very source of the destabilization. So sick of it.

Rand would of been a great prez but the climate of America just changed too rapidly for his stances to have any substance.

Since the GOP treated his dad with such hostility he tried to kiss too much RNC ass and that made him fall out with the voters.

Then when he tried to be a tough guy on the today show with Guthrie, he was treated like a womanizing wifebeater. He was stuck in a hard place between balancing the voters and the RNC. In the end the voters won.

They don't care who pushes their agenda as long as it gets done. At least Trump has fully dismantled the GOP and Ron should be happy about that.

In the end, attacking Trump only hurt Rand's chances.

If I was Rand Paul, I would completely ignore what some poster on the Internet who thinks I'm a loser says.
