We know that winning local and state elections is the way to go. Ron Paul winning his Congressional primary is good and he needs to get a speaking role at the convention. When people submit threads saying that "McCain Wins Nomination," it's because McCain really did win the nomination a few minutes ago and not because they're trolls. And it's not troll like behavior to say that Ron Paul has lost! It's the truth! It's like saying that Dennis Kucinich is about to win. Now if anything I hate this thread:

There's a difference between being optimistic and just being unrealistic. We should make the best out of the situations we are in - that is optimism. It is unrealistic figures or ideas that you guys force upon us like this thread. Now let me tell you something. Unrealistic happiness is what caused this campaign's destruction. When people were being realistic and saying that we wouldn't win Iowa, we should've accepted it rather than calling them trolls. What happened when we called them trolls and made the illusion that we would win so prevalent, that when we actually lost everyone just lost hope. It's stupid behavior like this that has made us and will make us lose for good!

I'm Optimistic, not UNREALISTIC!

The fight for liberty including the Presidency is not about realism or pessimism. It's about WORKING for the cause of liberty at ALL levels. If we continue the fight nationally and remain focused on the goal of restoring constitutional liberty, then the results will eventually speak for themselves in due time. You're substituting the prospect of success for the WORK required to achieve that success. True, we likely will not achieve the immediate gratification of nominating Ron as the GOP candidate for POTUS in 2008, but focusing on that possibility mitigates the initiative to fight onward regardless of the outcome. At this point, the MSM numbers say the game is over for Ron. Well, who cares if we really care about liberty? I don't. I'll fight all the way through Minneapolis and beyond, because I'm focused on the fight, not the outcome. The proper outcome will eventually occur because I'm properly focused on the fight itself.
