Ron Paul is loaded yet he...

can't get a half decent looking stage

Can't afford spokespeople from what I can see either to help dispel alot of the Ron Paul Negative BS out there about him being racist/nutty

All the Campaign's official commercials look like crap in comparison to everyone else's. Even though that troop one that came out is an improvement it's still amateur-ish, alot more amateur then alot of the amateur commercials made by the grassroots.

Let's be honest the #1 way to gain legitimacy in the race is to look legitimate... Ron Paul still seems to be approaching this campaign the way he did when he started when he wasn't playing to win but just running to bring up the issues he found important, he has to realize he's got potential now, the potential to win, he just needs to realize this is a different game we're playing.

Unless the official campaign has some amazing trick/scheme up their sleeve I don't think they've really lived up to the grassroots atall and should really step it up, it's really rather disappointing to watch it from the outside not being able to make it any better.

I hope Ron paul can figure this out.

Unfortunately in America it's the soapbox, how the hell else does McCain get 41% of the anti-iraq war vote?!

The campaign could spend a billion dollars and it won't do any good if the message isn't what people want. It is starting to look like the libertarian message is going to get the same treatment that it has gotten in every other election. I will hold out judgement until after super duper Tuesday but it doesn't look good so far.

Agreed. Not to be too negative because I think the campaign still has a long way to go but hire more/better profesionals to run his campaign sharpen the overall PR and marketing and stop with the fringe talk such as Lincoln, Civil Rights Act, Nafta/NAU. The supporters should stay away form acting looney and out of control as well. The message is not the problem it is the way it is delieverd. 9/11 Truthers, Chasing Hannity, screaming in the background of liveshots, while Tucker has guests on that talk about neo-confederates etc. etc. etc. is not going to get the typical Republican (or Indie) voter to vote for you. Stick to the bread and butter issues, taxes, economy, no policing the world. Stop yelling CFR all the time damnit!

Unfortunately Ron is a fiscal conservative in any sense of the word. In his life and in his career. I wish it weren't so, but it is! But then again, someone like Huckabee and McCain barely spends money yet they are ahead...so money is not everything. It's name recognition.

I now believe he is sandbagging for a 3rd party run. I am the last person to want to say it, but face up to this. Ron's purpose is to instill the power of the patriot in as many as possible.

In the end Paul maybe not have been the guy strong enough to carry the message. He is very reserved and has repeatedly said that he's just apart of the idea of freedom not the man leading the cause. The fact that he doesn't take the roll as leader is probably what turns people off.

is it the soapbox you stand upon or the message that's important?

The message is important, but when you've raised $20 million in one quarter you should be standing on something better than a soapbox.

The campaign should have been parading the 50% straw poll victories, high fundraising and 1-day U.S. fundraising record like it was their fucking first name.

Campaign = FAILURE

Not even one god damn commercial with the exact statistics to wow people. FU Campaign.

I would be much more inclined to believe you if he was being so neglected with a campaign that looked as professional as a Romney campaign or McCain campign. It'a all about image, and Ron Paul is denying himself one.

They had very well made commercials running around in these two states and were probably borrowing to make ends meet.

People want a strong leader.....

Ron Paul has spent the last 30 years of his life devoted to the cause of liberty. He has faced the derision of his colleagues on both sides of the aisle while never wavering from what he knew to be right. He got himself reelected to Congress in 1996 when the Republican party used every trick in the book to try and beat him. His opponent in that election says that NO ONE SHOULD EVER UNDERESTIMATE RON PAUL.

He is the strongest man I have ever known in my life. Not strong enough? You need to have your head examined.

Ron has the message and the Plan!

Lets face it with RP's real world experience he is more sly than any Fox that exists.
(please excusse any pun reference)

Have the faith but also do the work that this campaign needs

The college vote was where we thought we would be king but it turned out to be a kick in the pants

I do agree we need to make him look more presidential in his appearances

This may not buy him cred with the ones who know of his wisdom and knowledge but building a better soap box for him to stand on will buy us at least one shot with the 99% that haven't voted to at least see Ron Paul and hear the message. Once you get the RP bug bite you immediately need to have your daily fix of Ron Paul.

Look at Hilary's & Obama's NH primary location setting, the staging, lighting & sound was pristine. The feed to the Press/Media was clean and right on - NO highly distorted or levels so low you had to strain to listen even with headphones.

This is the big time and Ron Paul deserves to be treated way better - the better the look - the better he looks and people will want to hear Ron Paul

We (the HQ campaign and grassroots) need to review Marketing & Advertising 101 course.

Even McCain looked and sounded good tonight - Yikes!
