Putting on my marketing hat, how about focusing on the issue 70% of Americans agree with him on, the war in Iraq:

The 'love' message is in line with future President Paul's 'keeping it positive' (not antagonizing) approach. As an aside, my dad did something similar during Nixon's 1973 inauguration. He had a bi-plane tow a "Legalize Gold" banner as part of a rallying cry for the gold legalization movement (In 1971, he organized the National Committee to Legalize Gold (NCLG) and launched Gold Newsletter to lobby for gold legalization). I mention this because the banner seemed to have a great visibility impact (gold ownership for U.S. citizens became legal again January 1, 1975). Anyway, just my 2 cents.
