I was libertarian. I voted for Harry Browne in 2000 and Michael Badnarik in 2004.

Democrat (only because I live in Philly); before that Constitution and before that Republican

democratic leaning independent.

i had no idea what conservatism was because i had just started paying attention when bush was elected... meh

i thought conservative meant an asshole who is vehemently against gay marriage.

I wasn't of age to vote in the last election, and my only political knowledge was that (Bush=bad) + (Kerry=bad) = Politics bad.

If I had to pick, though, it'd be Republican - simply because my parents, namely my dad, badmouthed the Democrats for as long as I can remember.

Not sure... I kinda considered myself a Republican, but I was just following my parents at the time. I'd never supported anyone or cared. So I just really don't know. I wasn't really anything.

I was once a democrat, but I now switched over to the independent group of folks because the Democrats are becoming too corrupt. The lying done by Hillary and Obama day after day, and the hypocrisy of the democratic party was the number one motivator for me switching over. The democratic party is now run by lobbyists, not by principle.

Independent - And always felt both major parties left us with poor choices. Voted for the lessor of two evils for 20 years and won't do it ever again!

I meant..... ehhh... Deer. Yes. I misread the OP - and thought he said... deer.

Deer overpopulation harms natural ecosystems. In high deer density areas, deer browsing prevents the regeneration of forests as deer eat nearly all the tree seedlings, destroy forest understory plants, and reduce overall species richness. Several studies found that deer browsing significantly reduces songbird numbers by destroying their habitats.

Honest mistake, too.

Ah! That reminds me of so many Government debates in class! Every time I said anything the liberal kids would bring that up. It got aggravating, how is it that people can associate an argument about Iraq with gay marriage? Eventually ended up yelling something along the lines of "I do not give a SH!T about gay marriage" Good thing the teacher was chill enough to let it slide.

So, you thought there was an m, o, c, a, and a t in "deer"? Interesting.

Well... see - I try to divide my attention to uhhh.... 5 different articles at once so that I can absorb as much information as possible. I rarely make mistakes - but as I was responding to a question about "deer in headlights" on uhh.... another forum - I accidentally confused the two words.

Alright then. Thanks. :P
