I'm an American. I'm a believer in the Constitution. I was raised in a mostly Communist (20's union organizers) household, but ones who taught me to believe VEHEMENTLY in the Constitution and the founding fathers.
Neither Libertarian nor Socialist does it for me. A combination of the two might work.
And then this Ron Paul guy came along (actually a few years ago - I've been threatening to support him for Pres since about 2004 when I first learned about him).
Some issues I agree with him completely. Some I disagree. Some I originally disagreed, but have looked at the situation from a different viewpoint and can now agree or at least agree that it's not worth worrying about for the major first issue:
He's honest.
OMG an honest politician. Almost impossible to believe. Actually the only honest politician I've known since my grandpa was talked into running for Communist Party Mayor of Staten Island. He lost, naturally, but he at least tried. I know grandpa was honest cause he raised me and I know how he thought.
I know Ron is honest because his every word and tone of voice screams it.
So I don't have a "political label" I have true honest Americans as my party.
