What is your line of work?

Software Engineer for a very large defense contractor!!!

Hahaha... I'd gladly take a layoff if it means Dr. Paul is our President.

I am similar too, except on the hardware side of things. People shouldn't assume that defense contractor != Ron Paul supporter. I doubt that most people have their jobs because of political views.

Self employed with my own studio.
Personal trainer, nutritionist, and contest prep coach for amateur bodybuilders.

Work for an ISP - web design is my main job but do tech support and books also.

List your company with ronpaulyellowpages.com - its easy, free and great way to find business to support that openly support Ron!

I do reporting & logitics for a company in Jacksonville that provides core processing for financial institutions; card issuer and transaction processing, and mortgage processing services; and related information products and outsourcing.

But...

I'm also sitting on what I believe is a million dollar idea that if brought to fruition would actually help accomplish many of the things we are all working for here. I'm in search of a partner (or partners) who could help develop it.

right now, mall security ;)

looking to get into actual law enforcement in the near future... if not, i'll be working on getting my armed and private investigation certification...

side stint as a graphic designer... but i let my husband take all the credit...hehe

Security Contractor.

I'm changing careers though. 4 years of seeing U.S. foreign policy up close and personal is enough for me. The work really opens your eyes to reality.

Last job: Contract Administrator for one of the largest Government Whor, err, contractors for a super-funded project under the Department of Energy. Worked for them for 12 1/2 years. Requested (begged really...LOL) to be laid off when they were offering voluntary lay-offs (with extra benefits) prior to them making non-voluntary lay-offs. I administrated the subcontracts with Lockheed Martin and and administrated the staff augmentation contracts for the most part. Also worked alot for the President's office coordinating company-wide special projects. Not an easy job when the workforce was 15,000 - 18,000 people

Being a Government contractor is brutally competative, cut throat, dirty and lucrative. Being a friend of people in high places and getting sole source non-competative contracts is the ultimate goal. Halliburton is the envy and enemy of them all right now. Not a single one of them wouldn't sell their souls to be in their position ;).

Retired juvenile probation officer
I retired early to care for my disabled husband who worked 30 years in security at Ratheon He developed diabetes as a result of spraying agent orange in Veitnam during his Air Force years. Good old agent orange, it has given my husband peripheral neuropathy (nerves in feet and legs die) and loss of eye sight, not to mention quality of life.
