I know this is a pretty old article, from February 2011, but it certainly offers some perspective:

Ron Paul's stance on withdrawing all foreign aid, including from Israel, should be a tough sell with the Jewish community, as well as with the strongly religious non-Jewish community that is afraid that without US support Israel would get crushed by some Middle Eastern state.
So I'm just curious what's the consensus on Ron Paul's candidacy within the Jewish Community, or maybe I should say the non-elite Jewish Community (as I would think the elite is against Ron Paul regardless whether they are Jews or not).
