It appears that Ron Paul is not doing so good on Super Tuesday. What is his plans if he continues to do poor in Super Tuesday? Does he plan to drop out of the race?

Keep going all the way to the convention.

I hope he gets to speak at the convention.

MSNBC is saying this is the night for Huckabee to make a deal because he'll never be any stronger than this.

Huck's a one trick pony.

So is Mccain.

You are kidding right? Where you been, hanging out under bridges?

I know most of y'all don't want to hear it, but does it really help our cause to stay in after its all over?

The dems who have done this in the past looked ridiculous.

Fire away, but I care about this cause. It doesn't end in 2008. Whats most important is how we carry forward after this.

The more I think about this the more upset I get.

Why waste our resources fighting for the nomination of a party thats just not going to give it to us.

I say forget it. Save all our powder for a third party run.

I wanted very badly for this to work, but this party doesn't deserve Ron Paul. Why not a form a new party: The Constitutional Liberty Party.

The FIRST CHECK this campaign should have written was to a WORLD CLASS PR AND MEDIA company.
Until he/they write that check NOTHING will change.
As I have said over and over, people are not smart enough to get RP's message.
They have pissed the money away in shamefully poor media and television ads.
Sack them all. Bring the professionals in.
Where is Ralph Naders Genius advertising guys when you need them?
I am sick about it.

We are going all the way, let the dust settle, we have picked up delegates and we need to hold our cards, stay positive. Again, the Repubicans can't step over us to market themselves in the general election. Ron Paul is very valuable in this race and it is not over. Hold your cards, let's get the final numbers and clear them and even if we retain 3% it is 3% of their own party they have to deal with.

A united party is the party that wins the White House, a lot can happen until convention. It doesn't look like McCain is going to achieve his delegate count tonight or any of them. None of them are going to, so wait, until the number are validated other than the exit polls media stuff.

here here.

I know when I'm not welcome. I wonder if that would reset the donation limits?

We could put the retired post election meetups back to work.

then we have to come up with a MSM PR game plan. We need the coverage, how do we get it?

Maybe you're right. I hope so. But McWarmonger is trouncing Romney tonight. Huck has nothing outside of a few states. He's probably already cut a deal with McInsane and will bow out soon.

A brokered convention is increasingly unlikely. We've come a long way to end up as a silly footnote.

I'm an unhappy camper right now.

The very conservate third of the Republican party is breaking 47 percent for Romney.

Mccain only gets 19 percent of this vote.

I think we saw this in West Virginia today. They wanted no part of Mccain.

Yet, John Dean maintains that other polls show that many Republicans are voting in the Democratic primaries. They have left the Republican party altogether.

The conservatives are being split by Huckabee and Romney, those that are left, causing Mccain to come out ahead. It's an illusion that Mccain is winning anything.

He's just winning by default right now.

That won't work in a National election.

Why should Ron Paul back out? He's got enough money to do media buys right up to the Convention, he's got a strong cadre of motivated supporters, and he has always said that the message, not necessarily the man, is the important thing. Why not keep hammering that message home right up to Convention and beyond? He's honestly going to be a bit long in the tooth for a 2012 Presidential run so this is probably his last dance on the national political stage - he should make it a good one.

Focus on congressional election but still take the presidential campaign as far as it will float.

That's what I hope. Or at least run as an independent.

Here's What's Next

There is a big picture here. Whether it is a brokered convention, an independent ticket, or another election in four years.

We need stay focused, organized, and supportive for what we believe. We are taking on every power in this country that has had generations to cement their influence.

First. This isn't over. Yes, the Republicans have treated Ron like a stepchild. But Ron has still had more publicity being in the Republican debates than he would have ever had starting out as an independent. As hard as it is to believe, he would probably have had even LESS media attention.

So let's see how this thing plays out first. The dust hasn't settled.

Sure, we wanted a few more delegates (and we may have a few more by the end of the day) but it looks like the primary goal might have been achieved which is that NO ONE wins the automatic bid outright. I'm glad Huckabee has taken a few states. If Romney takes a large portion of California, it could even out this race a bit more. One thing we'll know for sure, everyone's campaign will likely continue after today. I'm more interested to see how close everyone will be to that magic number.

I'm open for another money bomb to keep Ron in the game. But more importantly, we need to get him re-elected to Congress!!! Everyone needs to donate! I'd rather have two money bombs for him on the same day. One for each.

Imagine what that would do when the Media assumes we fall apart and we destroy the records once again. I have NO DOUBT that we are gaining support, it just doesn't seem that it is happening quick enough. But these money bombs continue to leave these political pundits scratching their heads and people are taking a second look. I think that one article by Oodora has converted a ton of people already. Just by myself I've converted at least 100 people in the last 4 days that I've emailed with that link.

Second. I'd like to wait to see what Ron's plans are. I'm more interested in his take on today and how motivated he still is to continue. I would imagine that he is going to still be willing to go forward as long as we are willing to go with him. If we waver in our support, he is much more likely to throw in the towel. He's said it himself that as long as people support him and donate, he will continue.

If he decides to continue, I'll support him and donate even more.

If he decides to run as an independent, I'll support him and donate even more.

If he decides to go back to Congress and work on making a difference in other ways we need to do several things.

  1. Determine a list of other Congressmen to support and donate to (there is more than one way to take over a country)
  2. Create a national fund starting now. 50,000 people donating just $20 per month for the next 40 months with a 5% APR compounded, would generate $126 million for Ron or whoever he endorses for the next election. Let's see the media try to silence him then.
  3. Parlay this support into a larger grass roots effort. We weren't able to get precinct leaders in every precinct in the country, but what could we do in 4 years?
  4. Begin informing the general public. Bring these issues to the people nationally even if we have to talk to millions of people individually over the next 4 years. 50,000 people talking to just 2 different people per day for 1200 days would reach 120 million people (and maybe more as some of those people would then talk to others). We are talking about a third of the country. We aren't going to convert everybody and that's ok. But I think most of us feel that there is a lot more support for this movement out there, if people were informed and even knew that Ron Paul existed and what he stood for. There are still tons of people who say "Ron Paul who?" or if they have heard of him, there is no way they could tell you what he stands for. We need to circumvent the media. That is hard to do in a couple months but in 4 years, it is VERY possible. Plus, as our economy gets even worse and inflation continues to skyrocket, I think people are going to be really interested in WHY this has happened. Most don't know how the FED works or how our overspending has destroyed our economy.

I'm just laying out possibilities here. We have options. But more than anything, I'm not going to have a kneejerk reaction and I'm just going to see how this plays out. If someone organizes another Money Bomb. I'm in.
