Today, we are once again combining math and art. We'll study fractions by drawing four leaf clovers then finish them in oil pastels. I thought about chalk dipped in tempera, but I don't feel like cleaning up the mess. We'll shade the vase by outlining a rectangle, dividing into ninths (three up, three across), drawing the vase inside of it, then shading light to dark based on the fractional parts.
I'm wearing a Hanes Tshirt and some pajama pants that some guy left at my house 8 or 10 years ago. I just got off the phone with him, and after I told him what I was doing, he predicted that I was wearing his clothes to do it. Yeah. So? If he has a problem with it, he can trot his happy hiney over here and do the project with his daughter in his old clothes, lol.
No white shoes for sure. Barefoot again today.
