. . . to promote and attend this march, as well.

This is a march to unite people behind the idea that we must re-establish our constitution.

The fact that the march was his idea, and he pulled it together might score some significant extra exposure to his message but also perhaps some additional support for his actual campaign.

Not even sure what I'd think about it, but interesting though, I thought. :o

I think issuing the invitation is a great idea. They should not be offered speaking spots, but they can sit on the stage and listen. :D

interesting idea.

i imagine no one would accept, but that might be the best part about it. a little bit of ammo for the ensuing stories.

It may be a good idea to invite all the Ron Paul Republicans running throughout the country in other political races. Which would not only put more focus on the message, but be a showing of the influence of Ron Paul.

Hey yea... this is a fantastic idea... good thing yo... I mean I came up with it like a week ago ;)

Seriously, I did... try the search function sometime.

Everytime I get an idea, I'm suppose to search the entire forum to maker sure no one else has said it?

I agree...let these guys sit on stage and be introduced! They will garner great attn to the movement!

Excellent idea, no matter who came up with it :)

I checked for patents and copyrights but nothing turned up. Sorry I failed to give you proper credit. ;)

Meantime, I also came up with the idea for a national march months ago, and most people failed to get behind it, so it dwindled into a 20 person march on the Fed in Atlanta.

Then this Ron Paul guy floats the idea, and everyone goes crazy about it. I don't get it -- who does this guy think he is? :)

Ron Paul Republicans? Hell yeah. Other presidential candidates? um no.

Remember that Reagan shot ahead with that "I'm paying for microphone, Mr. Green [sic]!" moment.

I would think it only benefits Paul to invite other presidential candidates, and if they don't come, they look like a dickhead, and if they come, they look like a dickhead anyway.

And it'll guarantee MSM coverage either way.

:D

I certainly would. I'd love to have a list of demands from the rally to give to them:

Just to keep them somewhat more acceptable:

Restore civil liberties.
No pre-emptive wars.
No undeclared wars.
No increased taxes.
No unbalanced budgets.
No borrowing from the Social Security Trust Fund.
No expansion of the Federal Government.
No North American Union.
Reduce foreign aid.
Reduce the welfare state.

Invite Them All On The Condition That They Hold A Debate On The Issues That The American People Voted On... On This Forum.

If the other Presidential candidates came to the Paul march and spoke, the MSM would probably use their comments in the news highlights, and NOT the comments Paul made at his own march!

We should invite all candidates that defend the constitution strictly...

Since Ron Paul is the ONLY one, there is no issue.

I see no problem allowing other PRIOR candidates to come and talk if they are choosing an issue to talk about and stick to that relates to liberty such as "no national ID card" or limited government"....I actually am all for it seriously. Any person in congress should be invited if they are going to talk about defending the constitution strictly....even if it's about a single issue.

Great Idea!

If they were invited they would be booed. If McCain or Huckabee or someone gets on that podium and talks about staying the course, or yaks on about patriotism they will be booed by 1,000,000+ people! What an opportunity! they cant just pay lip service to the Constitution either, this is a Consitution and we know who has been following it (Ron Paul) If they are invited they know better not to come. They aren't worthy.
