No kidding. A choice between Clinton or McCain in November is straight out of Stephen King. :eek:

Right now I'm hoping hard for RP to do really well Feb 5th and beyond. Next best thing is a brokered convention.

Last resort, write in Ron Paul in November - and possibly move to a U.S Territory so I can get as far away as possible from the wreckage without actually leaving the country.

I'm getting really down, and im not a troll. Everytime theres a primary i get hyped up and then let down, im really not liking this roller coaster and i dont understand how we'll do any better on super tuesday unless something drastic happens(like the national ad blitz speculated hoax). :( I will write Paul in regardless but still...
 
I really hope McIdiot doesn't win, I think he's even more of a war monger than Bush. If our country was legitimately attacked, I'd be the first to go sign up to defend, but I'll be damned to fight in one of THEIR wars.
 
If anyone other than Ghully gets the nomination, it'll mean the elites were really behind the Dems all along. McCain, Romney, and Huck are sham candidates. The first was considered too old in 2000, the second is an outsider self-investing in his national name recognition, and the third can only win over the 20%-something percent of the country that still loves Dubya.
 
If there's no pro-liberty Dem/Rep in an election, ALWAYS vote Libertarian. Duh.

Also, don't try to move out of the U.S. There's no other country that's any better. Instead, join us in New Hampshire! We're getting things done and having a blast in the process:

This is a very scary thought. I cannot vote for either McCain or Clinton. We are in for a world of shit.
 
I'll write in Ron and it'll be okay maybe. People need to be reminded what democrats are like and maybe they'll come back to their senses. This could be a Goldwater scenario; the beginning of big things - as long as things aren't ruined beyond repair in the intervening 4-8 years.

I don't personally hate Romney as much as the others. Romney vs. Hitlery would be a tough one if it was a close race.

What if it's a brokered convention with McCain 45%, Romney 45% and Paul 10%, and Paul got the VP spot with one of them? :p
 
If McCain wins the nomination, we're screwed. He'll tap Huckabee as his VP, which will pretty much lock in the mindless, knee-jerk Christian Vote. McCain himself will take much of the anti-war just as he did in New Hampshire. I think this is because people associate him with competently executing the war, so they think he could end it in a better manner than anyone else. The nation feels that Ron Paul's way - get the hell out immediately - is far too clumsy and drastic. (I disagree, as we all do.)

It looks as if Romney or McCain will win the nomination. Romney is the only one Paul could beat in a national election...especially if the Dem nominee is Hillary. Obama would kill RP's chances as well. He captures the youth, anti-war, minority, and independent votes.
 
If McCain gets the nom, I'll throw up in a sock, and then beat him over the head with it.... After keeping it in the freezer until I meet him... Muahahahaha....
 
MORE BullSH** because he will LOSE To a DEM. Simple as that, but seriously do Reps really want to win? They are in bed together in the end! They have been for years. If they really wanted to win, Ron Paul would be the one they got behind in the beginning HANDS DOWN, because he would CRUSH any democrat!
 
None of the repub lineup except Paul would beat Hillary OR Obama...

This is going to end up with a Dem in the WH in 08.
 
The GOP won't get behind Paul because the Powers That Be want continued war in Iraq and a total remaking of the Middle East, which includes a war with Iran.


DFF, there's optimistic, there's realistic, and then there's delusional. If you think Ron Paul can win the Republican nomination, you're the latter. I would LOVE to see him win it, but it's not going to happen.

However, I DO believe he could win a general election against Romney/Clinton.
